First of the two second preliminary round ties were tonight. Bo’ness Athletic from the East of Scotland 2nd division beat West of Scotland Premier side Kilwinning Rangers 2-0 and East of Scotland Premier side Tynecastle beat Glasgow Uni of West of Scotland 3rd division side 4-0. Was at Meggetland for the Tynecastle game and it is a great stadium to watch football at and better than some league grounds.

Disagree that squad is stronger. Think first XI is strong but the cover is still pretty weak. However accept squad depth was never going to be sorted in one window.

Move to a Championship club would be great for him plus working with an Aberdeen legend.

With Nisbet, Sokler and probably Gueye all ahead of him I think Ambrose at 22 would benefit from going on loan to give him game time and get him used to the game here.

At Right back McCrorie is injured again and Ralston not playing we are struggling there. As you say can see Barron being called up along with Gauld. Think it will be too soon for Nisbet this time around. Surely not even Clarke is stubborn enough to pick players who are without clubs.

Have to disagree. Did not look like a red card a normal speed. Even after replays there was nothing that showed the Killie player catching Sokler him off the ground. I would be raging if we had a player sent off for that.

And I didn’t put him on as first scorer despite looking it up.
