I think we need to lose one of central midfielders and go to an orthodox 4-4-2. We do not need to have two holding midfielders for all bar tims. Vernon needs to have someone up beside him. From what I have seen Fallon or Magennis are not the answer as Fallon to similar in style and Magennis is just shit. From the little I have seen of McGinn I would not say that he looks like a striker either. Paton is different in style from Vernon but it seems Brown does not rate him. Megginson also offers something different but not sure if he has strength to play through middle.
