Brown is not a good keeper. He may not make as many stupid mistakes as Langfield but nor does he make as many stops as Langfield. If Langfield could cut out the stupid mistakes he would clearly be the better keeper. I would have been happy if both were moved on last summer.

Snodgrass and Rhodes out injured and Commons in. With the return of both Fletcher and Commons I would guess Harry Potter has been told his job is on the line.

Think if the U21s had been playing meaningful games he may well have got moved up but as U21 games this month are friendlies I can see why SFA have left him with the U19s for the qualifiers. I am happy enough with him playing as it will give him experience of playing against different styles of players over the next week which can only be of a benefit for the player and the Dons in the long run. Also international apperances help the compo figure when he leaves on a free at the end of his deal. Edit: Meant to add that its a pity U19 game is at Hamilton tomorrow as would have headed over to see how he gets on if it had been at Falkirk like the rest of the games.

Better today. More like a 4-4-2 today with McGinn playing alongside Vernon and team seemed play better for it. Fraser again given scant protection from ref. Limped of today after being kicked up and down pitch. Hughges was one weak point today. Sooner Milsom is fit to replace him the better. Good result as Hibs looked a decent side and bore no resemblance to the team that almost went down last season. Off to see Cove in Scottish Cup now.
