He would have had a point if it was not for the fact that him sacking his manager and interfering in team selections being the biggest reason that his team never won the league.

Definitely remember seeing him playing centre for Scotland U21s and for Motherwell most of the time. Can play left back as cover but have we not learnt from the McArdle experiment that playing a centre half at full back usually ends up biting you in the arse. Would much rather we went out and got player whose best position is full back and not some one that can cover there at a push.
