Contradicts what Brown himself said a couple of days ago about this particular player and what they said on the radio earlier but heres hoping this means we are still looking for players.
According to Jim Spence on radio Scotland tonight Chalili will be our last signing as Brown had confirmed to him that only business AFC doing now is moving youngsters out on loan. Looks like he is about to repeat the mistakes of the previous clown by going into the season with no natural full backs or wingers. Long hard season ahead.
In/oot: was tempted but oot.
Prematch: flat watching Spurs v Man City
match: Radio
post match: flat watching another EPL game
Predition: Might scrape a 0-0 but probably another defeat.
In/oot: oot
Prematcher: Work
Match: Probably watching a game on Sky
postmatcher: Hopefully winding up my Dundee supporting brother about his pish team
Prediction: Dons 2-0 Dundee - Brother reckons Dundee will struggle. Not the same team as last season so hopeful we will progress.
Decent first half with Milsom and Osbourne being standouts. Vernons best game for a while and he took his goal well. 2nd half we reverted to type and were pretty poor. As soon as Caley moved Hayes into the middle and ran at us there we really struggled. Still overall better then last week and we got three points which is the important thing especially with us heading to Ibrox next week.
Thing is you could with this guy. He has only managed an average of 20 games a season since his major injury so was a pretty fair bet that he would be out injured a fair bit.
McCarthy has said before he is not interested in loaning players out to SPL so cannot see this happening. However would be a decent signing if it does.
Agreed at least one full back, winger and striker must come in if we are to have any hope of avoiding another long painful season fighting relegation. Sadly doubt we will get even that many.
Lack of width, fuck all creation and playing that fucking clown McArdle at right back killed us today.
Brown must get in decent full back, a winger and a decent striker in next couple of weeks if he is to avoid the fate the previous manager.
