  1. If they could be persauded to let them go then would think that we should make an offer for Cowie and Black from Inverness. Also still think we (along with near enough everyone else in the league) need an out and out goal scorer. Keeper would also be nice as Bossu frightens me.
  2. Might be a better idea to contact AFC and tell them that you are looking to start a supporters club in that area and asking them to put details on website or supporters club page in the programme if they still do that.
  3. First top was 1980 red addidas one. Favourite home top was red pin stripped one form 82 -83 period. Favourite away top is probably white abtrust from early 90s.

    Alloa

Cannot remember there being any bars near the ground. There are few in the town centre that were ok but they were not overly keen on football fans. Still shouldbe a good day out. Can always stop in Stirling for a few on the way there or back.
  5. For above article read - For Sale All Reasonable Offers Accepted. If you do not want to sell your players you do not big them up in the papers.
  6. According to Edinburgh Evening News some of the Hearts players were not paid on Monday as was originally claimed. Article below. Several Hearts players still waiting for wages By BARRY ANDERSON SEVERAL Hearts players have still not received their overdue wages from last week, the Evening News can reveal. Certain members of the squad, understood to include Andy Driver, Bruno Aguiar and Christos Karipidis, were not paid on Monday when the club processed outstanding monies for their players. As of this morning, the individuals concerned were yet to receive their salaries. They were asked to be patient about the issue during a meeting with senior Hearts officials yesterday, however, no date has been given regarding when wages will arrive. A Tynecastle source said: "It seems not everyone got their money on Monday and there was a meeting about it." With this week's salaries due to drop into players' accounts tomorrow, players have been left fearing a repeat scenario of last week's delay. Wages initially failed to arrive last Friday with the club and officials at Vladimir Romanov's Ukio Bankas Investment Group, Hearts' parent company, stating it was simply a time delay and that payments would go through on Monday. It has emerged that, while many players did receive funds at the start of the week, some did not. Furthermore, Arbroath are ready to intensify their attempts to recoup a sell-on fee from Hearts for Andy Webster. The Gayfield club agreed to accept £14,437 plus VAT from the £150,000 Wigan paid Hearts for Webster following a ruling from the Court of Arbitration for Sport in January this year. However, that debt is still outstanding. John Christison, the Arbroath chairman, said today: "We had a board meeting on Tuesday night and we discussed a number of things we could do to try and get the money," confirmed Christison. "We are in touch with the SFA over this but one thing we could do is to ask to freeze their gate receipts and we could also look at applying a signing ban. "We have been too nice about this for too long and it's sad it has come to this."
  7. First game I was taken to was against the Huns in 1976 at Ibrox. No idea of the score.
  8. Last time I was at Raith match there were no seats in the West stand next to away fans. Looked like it had been closed. Big stand behind the goal should be big enough though. Cannot be arsed with Alloa although at least it now has a railway station so is not such a pain in the arse to get to as it used to be.
  9. My Boss has heard something similar from his YPO group. Also heard that Jambos are not paying their bills again. If Romanov and his bank do walk away and demand their £40M would administration even be worth it as cannot see where they would raise that kind of money.
  10. Aluko for me. Anything good we did went through him. We will be in deep shit if anything happens to him.
  11. Does not socre enough goals for me to be considered an international class striker. Also for someone who is supposed to be such a great header of the ball he offers very little at corners or set pieces.
  12. Whites for half 12 then.
  13. Think this is a game we have to win. Win it and we are back in the fight for 3rd despite a poor start and it will boost players confidence. Lose and we are dragged back into bottom couple of places with a long depressing winter ahead. If we have serious ambitions about being best of the rest (still say that aimming for 3rd as an ambition is a bit of joke) then we really cannot afford to lose again until 22nd November when we play Huns.
  14. Looked a decent player before he got injured. Depends on how well he has recovered from that. Sure I remember reading somewhere that he was close to having to give up the game due to his injury.
  15. Seve for me. Worked really hard and covered well for Foster and the clown Young especially.
  16. Wright booked again. Got a horrible feeling this guy is going to be a liability.
  17. 23 goals in 83 matches is not a bad record and hardly shite.
  18. Brother thinks Rae should have got a bit more time to see how he did once players were back from injury.
  19. Do not think you can say that we have turned the corner after winning one game. Can only say that if we go on an undefeated run that sees us getting back up the table into a position that sees us challanging for 3rd. Anything less is still going backwards on last few seasons. Also think the style of football has to improve to get folk back through the gates and watching the team again.
  20. Which one Jimmy Nic or Rae?
  21. I still enjoy watching football I just do not enjoy watching Aberdeen anymore.
  22. As others have said we are stuck with Milne as without him the bank are at the door wanting their money back As for management team they clearly seem to have run out of ideas and need changed whether we can afford to do that is a different matter. Miller should be sacked for giving the management team the new 3 year deals in the first place.
  23. Must be wet out or you would be in the Pit by now.
  24. Not sure if its fair to blame Chris Anderson. He was the man responsible for us having the first all seater stadium so was probably ahead of his time. From what I have heard and read I do not think we would have been in the mess we are in now if he had lived longer.
  25. Is it not 2 pens for Miller?
