Depends on if we could get tv interested in any of the games and level of crowds we would get. Also would depend on how far we got. If we went out whilst in inter toto then would probably lose cash however if were to get to first round proper would probably make money. Suppose thats the gamble you take on entering. Personally I would have liked the Dons to enter as its a route to Uefa and possibility of making group stages again.

Was never going to work. Guy was finished before he came here. He hardly played in over two years before he came to us as his knees were gone and should not have been touched. And before people say anything about 20/20 hindsight please look at old posts on AFC chat and on here when we first signed him and you will say me saying something similar.

Only game that I saw him play half decent was in Madrid and for 45mins against United. Other games he has been pish and in two was taken off at half time he was that bad. He does not have the legs for the Scottish game to play at the back or the speed of thought to play in the midfield. No surprise to me that his best game was in Europe where he was given plenty of time on the ball by an Athletic team that were playing at half speed.

Given how pish they have all been for selick this season I would say it is a set back that these players are out.

Was originally brought here to be specialist striking coach but when our strikers struggled to score JC moved his mate to being reserve coach instead.

Pretty sure we do not having a scouting network as JC told the club to get rid when he first came in so he could use the money saved to bring in our striking coach and he JN and the striking coach would do all the scouting. Also JC said that he had a massive net work of contacts (friends with Martin Jol and Arsene Wenger don't you know) which would allow us to pick up players. As for signing any of these three they would all be yet another backward step.

Do not trust JC with the cash so I voted for keep tight grip on the purse strings.

Not a fan of Miller either for reasons mentioned above. Never seen a 6ft odd player go down so easily. He if he stayed on his feet more often would be a more effective player. Also think you have apoint about the replacments. All the players that leave have to replaced be by better ones. No point in replacing shite with total shite like we did in January when we replaced the ineffectual Clark with the even worse Duff.

They have allegedly broken that wage structure to give Fletcher the new deal he signed but not sure if they splash the same level of cash for Miller. Only hope of a move for Miller is 3rd/4th division (or what ever there called now) in England as he has probably not done enough to get a championship side. Can see Barry Nic going to Championship (possibly down to Plymouth with Clark and Anderson?) and Arab in the work is convinced Lovell will sign for them.

Team I saw on Saturday (and in a fair number of games this season) showed vey little desire to win and that has been the most frustraing thing this season. Only seemed to put in a shift in when they could be arsed.

Still to figure out why you bring in a full back to replace a centre half.

Do not think Clark going was a bad thing as he was not that good a player. The problem is that he has been replaced by a player, Duff, that is even worse.

Would keep Daimond and Considine but we need to get in an experience centre half to teach them the game. Severin is still best player at the club despite his poor form and if properly motivated is still an asset. Smith if injury problems are over should stay if not punt. Maybury is a decent player and if he was prepared to except a pay cut would be worth keeping. Rest are either not good enough, on loan or have not interest in staying. However still think the main problem is fact that JC is the one responsible for most of the pish we need to move on so can he be trusted to bring in replacements who are any better.
