Going 1 up front after going 1-0 up yesterday was unbelievable. Where did JC get this reputation as an attacking manager? Hearts were there for the taking but were far to negative in our outlook to take advantage. Cannot see why everyone is raving about Jackie Mac. Apart from giving the ball away for the goal I cannot remember him doing anything yesterday apart from pass the ball sideways or backwards. Lastly long balls to a lone striker against two 6ft plus monsters why? Thankfully I will not be here for the Celtic game as off on holiday tonight for a week as I can see Celtic giving us a right going over.

Byrne is not good to enough to play at Aberdeen in any position. JC even tries to praise this balloon for being clumsey in an article in the P&J. Byrne would be a red card waiting to happen at centre half.

Only reason I can think of for this signing is that all those UV rays JC has been exposing himself to have finally fried his brain. Surely there were better players available. Daal for example.

As I said elsewhere I would bet on it being McNamara as I cannot see any other reason for us brining him here. At 33 with bad knees he is hardly what you would call up and coming talent.

Saw McAuley a couple of times for Peterhead and always looked head and shoulders above the rest of the team. He looked capable of playing at a higher level.

Good player who has always impressed when I have seen him play for Well or Scotland. Think he would be ideal partner for Seve in the middle of the park as well.
