Be interesting to see how the team react to Saturday’s result. Expecting them to bounce back myself. I would drop Clarkson and Morris to bench and start Keskinen and Duk. Clarkson’s form has shaded for me and Morris is more effective coming off the bench going against a tiring full back. I was not impressed with Palaversa on Saturday so would not change Nilsen or Shinnie if they are fit. Up front I would probably go with Nisbet. Hibs are a bin fire at the moment and we should be looking to win comfortably.

We were off it today. To slow in moving ball and always looking for an extra touch. Out muscled in the middle of the park as well. Not sure why Sokler started as was never his type of game against a physical St Mirren back line. As said above only really in it for 20 minutes of second half then fell out of it again. St Mirren deserved their victory although without seeing it again thought they should have reduced to 10 which would have changed the game.
Queens Park keeper Calum Ferrie looked decent tonight and one to keep an eye on. Ethan Ross was best of outfield players and looks like he could play at higher level to me. I would have thought Ryan Duncan would have added pace to Queens Park’s pedestrian attack so was surprised he didn’t play.
I didn’t know this was still a thing. Think I watched one episode years ago and decided I would only watch again if they were releasing man eating tigers into the jungle.
Weather being potentially poor probably plays in to St Mirren’s more physical approach than ours. Assuming everyone is back from international duty fully fit we should have enough to get passed them even if it is blowing a gale.

We are using Zoom all the time even now. Has pretty much replaced 80% of our in person meetings. I used to have to go to London for internal meetings regularly and these have all been replaced by meetings over zoom. Business travel is next to nothing now as a result.
Georgia have it back to 2-1 and Slovakia drawing with Estonia so still a chance of Pot 2 for World Cup draw.
For Nations League play off teams in second currently are Turkey, Austria, Ukraine and Greece.
Fantastic for their players although it probably means next campaign will be a load of heavy defeats but for players who have had defeat after defeat they must be buzzing right now.
We had chances to win that more comfortably but almost blew it by taking too long to make the subs. Ralston and McTominay were left on for longer than they should have. 3rd is probably about where we would have expected to finish. On to play off against 2nd placed team from B groups. Draw on Friday.
ETA Craig Gordon is still an amazing keeper at 41 but we need to hope someone else comes through soon as he cannot go on forever.
