  1. What pleased me most was how comfortable and controlled a performance it was. Just not used to watching Scotland like that. I will be in Sevilla next month so can guarantee the wheels will come off then.
  2. FIFA have changed the rules and now you can switch country if you have been capped 3 or less times by another country. Barnes has only one cap so can switch if he wants as he has Scottish grandparents. I am not a fan of this at all. Should have stuck to rule where once a player was capped by a country he could not shift.
  3. Played full game as Macedonia get a 1-1 draw with Italy.
  4. 3-0 McGinn. Brilliant goal.
  5. 2-0 now Porteous.
  6. 1-0 already McTominay again.
  7. Interestingly both Rubi and Jensen came from teams that play with a back 4 so we maybe do have the players to go to a 4 at the back. However agree that midfield would still be an issue.
  8. Ticket sales details now released for home games.
  9. Still to see him. Those who were at the challenge cup game against Peterhead were less than complimentary of his performance in the defeat.
  10. I always look out for the North teams fixtures and results in the cup. Going to be in Aberdeen the weekend of 23rd so will head to one of the cup games in the area.
  11. 1st round proper draw
  12. Not much on today’s evidence. Have said for a while that concerns about Robson have been growing and today now has me convinced we will again be looking for a new manager before the seasons done. Really hope I am wrong but his post match statement was squarely in McGhee territory.
  13. Only positive is 2nd half can’t be any worse. Two shite sides.
  14. Scott Brown sacked by Fleetwood. Just in time to get the Hibs job.
  15. No but think he can still go on a development loan to lower league side in Scotland as under 21.
  16. Never got a pie at Musselburgh yesterday as it was to warm a day for hot food. They did issue a programme though and I managed to one off one of the Coldstream committee. Have found that standard of pies at the non league grounds usually far exceeds that of league grounds.
  17. What route you going to Helsinki Al? Just so I know which flights to avoid.
  18. Yesterdays results Only result missing from there was Fort William 1-10 (ten) Clydebank which was an evening kick off. Most games seemed to go to form with the only shocks being Dunipace beating Irvine Meadow and St Andrews beating Haddington who have been flying so far this season. Went to Musselburgh v Coldstream yesterday which despite the scoreline wasn’t a bad game as Coldstream did have chances and on another day might have scored 2 or 3 themselves. Draw for the next round is today when Highland and Lowland league teams come in.
  19. Just seen that. Very surprised no defensive midfielder in if that’s the case.
  20. Departure this time. Good riddance.
  21. Confirmed by club. Another right sided centre back is really odd. Guessing club have decided one of the right sided defenders signed is not up to scratch. Supposedly another still to come.
  22. Frankfurt isn’t that great a city by German standards. I would consider staying elsewhere and training it in on the day and away that night. For example there is a train back to Düsseldorf at 2311 which would be a better base.
  23. From what I have seen of PAOKs games against Hearts I would expect us to lose home and away. Not seen Eintracht this season but if they are anything like as good as they were last season that could be another two defeats potentially heavy ones. Don’t know anything about Helsinki so no idea what they are like.
