For me looking at his previous seasons it’s looks very much like this is a one off good season. Prior to this year best he had was 9 and most seasons less than that. Fact he is 32 would also put me off. Pretty sure we could get someone better and younger.

I would be really surprised if Clarkson does not have other offers to consider from teams with deeper pockets than ours.
