Not keen on making changes just to give players game time. While I am still not convinced by Molloy and Rubi as a partnership I don’t think they have done enough wrong to be dropped so would continue with them just now. As long as everyone is fit I would expect the same starting 11 as last Saturday. Duk and Sokler did well off the bench on Saturday but not sure they did enough to get a start. Arabs been getting some decent results but don’t think they are particularly good at the back and can be got at. Even Hibs were beating them until reduced to 10 men. This is a game I expect us to win. Unlike others kick off time is not one I like as makes getting back home on public transport difficult and expensive. State of public transport in Scotland is not the clubs fault but really should be taken into account when setting kick off times. In train then pub Y pub then train 2-0 Nisbet and McGrath

Feels strange watching Empoli v Napoli to see two saltires against two of the players names. Empoli’s ground looks like a fun place to visit.

Having watched highlights the VAR call on our third was correct under the current rule but as others said the rule is just wrong and one that was created just to justify the existence of VAR. I just cannot see what benefit VAR brings. I actually thought Walsh did okay on Saturday. He got most of major calls right and although he did get his card out quickly for some of our players he let Neilsen away with a number of fouls before eventually booking him.

What a roller coaster of emotions that was. Thought we were doing okay then the arse fell out. Mitov should have come for the first but think his fuck up earlier effected his judgement. Don’t know what Molloy was doing for second. Almost left at half time but decided to give it 10 minutes. Thank fuck for that. Subs at half time were master strokes. Finish by Sokler was not what I was expecting from player low on confidence. Need to see third that was chopped off as didn’t see handball at the time. As much as I am dreading the game it will be intriguing to see how we will approach it. Do we start on the front foot or do we stand off and try and contain for first 20. Can’t see us playing a high press for 90 minutes and think we might stand off at times. Looking forward to see which approach we go with. Agree with Orlando that I would expect Duk to be an impact sub rather than start. Would expect it still to be Nisbet who will start.

Hoping that everyone comes back from international break fit. Think I would like to see us swap Clarkson for Palaversa from team that started against Hearts. Think we will see very little of the ball in this one and need to be very tight defensively. If I am honest cannot see us getting anything from this.
