As much as I am dreading the game it will be intriguing to see how we will approach it. Do we start on the front foot or do we stand off and try and contain for first 20. Can’t see us playing a high press for 90 minutes and think we might stand off at times. Looking forward to see which approach we go with. Agree with Orlando that I would expect Duk to be an impact sub rather than start. Would expect it still to be Nisbet who will start.

Hoping that everyone comes back from international break fit. Think I would like to see us swap Clarkson for Palaversa from team that started against Hearts. Think we will see very little of the ball in this one and need to be very tight defensively. If I am honest cannot see us getting anything from this. In fact I can see Celtic wanting to put us firmly back in our box and this could be a bit of a doing. In Train then pub Away end probably behind pillar. Train back to capital 3-0 no dons scorer.

Folk I know who are Blackpool fans that went home and away stopped going every week during Critchley as football was so bad to watch. That said be dull and boring and winning a few games is probably what they need now. Feels a short term appointment to get them back on track rather than a long term plan.

Only recent keeper I can find who is playing at a decent level is Freddie Woodman who we had on loan. He is currently number 1 for Preston North End. McCrorie at right back Pollock and McKenna as centre backs. Midfield of Ferguson, Barron and Ramadani, Hedges and Christie as wingers feeding Miovski. Struggling for a left back. Hanncock at Airdrie maybe.

Rubi on the bench for Montenegro against Wales. 0-0 after 25 minutes. Wales should be ahead.

Cifuentes Is who I wanted us to appoint when we gave the job to Robson. Would have been raging if he went to Hearts. Absolutely no concerns about them appointing Critchley.

McGrath stayed on bench as Greeks won 2-0. Second was complete cluster fuck by keeper. Greeks look a really useful side.

Greece 1-0 up just after half time. Greeks been wasteful in front of goal and should be much further ahead.

McGrath on bench again for Ireland away to Greece. Been entertaining game so far.

Thought Keskinen had a good game and put in some decent balls that his team mates should have taken advantage of.

Team for Croatia game Good to see Doak getting a start. Gordon being our only option in goal is a concern. Would have thought Adams might have started ahead of Dykes.

2-0 defeat. Very negative set up from start and looked like we were playing for a draw as that kept us ahead in group. Just kept getting deeper and deeper as game went on and it was only a question of when Belgium would score. Jack Milne got on at the end after game was already lost. Didn’t play anywhere near as we did last month against Spain.

McGrath got on in second half. RTE commentator kept mentioning Aberdeen all game. We are so Famous. Ireland better team second half and won 2-1.

Second bottom of league with allegedly the 2nd biggest budget in that league so not really surprised he is away.

Keskinen playing for Finland tonight and McGrath on the bench for Ireland. Finland just gone 1-0 up.

Surprised by that as not thought he has looked up to speed yet.

Well deserved call up for McKenzie. Think he has been one of our most consistent players this season.

Way too early to be thinking about this. Some folk are still trying to come to terms that they have paid £34 for a restricted view ticket and really don’t need a thread like this to remind me…….I mean them of that they are going to this.
