U21 team for game at 12pm

3-0 flattered us a bit. We never looked in any danger of losing the game but going forward felt we were too pedestrian and team seemed to lack energy. We looked better once McTomminay and Christie came on but was still surprised that we managed another couple of goals.

Train through from Edinburgh is heaving after Haymarket. Going to be interesting to see what happens at Falkirk and Linlithgow. Getting to Hampden even on Saturday is painful on public transport. Not helped by me leaving my beer in a bag that is still sitting in the kitchen.

Club have announced season ticket prices for next season. £400 for uncovered seat on South Stand as early bird price probably means that I will be stopping my ticket. £400 is just too expensive for Scottish football. Price combined with moving more and more kick offs from 3pm on a Saturday means it is just not worth while.

If everyone is fit I would go with side that started last two games although I would swap Duncan and Duk so both are playing on their stronger side. If Snodgrass is out for them on Saturday think we have great chance to beat them. Here we go again SFA’s latest attempt to get B teams into league structure. So the argument to get the B teams into lowland league was players needed to play against adult teams to develop but now they are likely to be punted from the lowland league they want a league composed mainly of B teams. Of course it’s all about player development.

Agree with Rico that they need to be making a decision now on it being Robson or someone else as we have too big a rebuilding job on for the work on it not to begin now. In fact we are probably already behind on it as ideally you would already want to have some of precontract agreements tied up. ETA - Should say I am not convinced by Robson as a long term option so would want to see new manager in as soon as possible.

Looking at remaining games I thought we might get 8 points but agree 45 should get us over the line.
