Having watched highlights the VAR call on our third was correct under the current rule but as others said the rule is just wrong and one that was created just to justify the existence of VAR. I just cannot see what benefit VAR brings. I actually thought Walsh did okay on Saturday. He got most of major calls right and although he did get his card out quickly for some of our players he let Neilsen away with a number of fouls before eventually booking him.

What a roller coaster of emotions that was. Thought we were doing okay then the arse fell out. Mitov should have come for the first but think his fuck up earlier effected his judgement. Don’t know what Molloy was doing for second. Almost left at half time but decided to give it 10 minutes. Thank fuck for that. Subs at half time were master strokes. Finish by Sokler was not what I was expecting from player low on confidence. Need to see third that was chopped off as didn’t see handball at the time. Thought ref was giving penalty for free kick at the end. Shattered after that and only just on train back to Capital now. Great day out.

As much as I am dreading the game it will be intriguing to see how we will approach it. Do we start on the front foot or do we stand off and try and contain for first 20. Can’t see us playing a high press for 90 minutes and think we might stand off at times. Looking forward to see which approach we go with. Agree with Orlando that I would expect Duk to be an impact sub rather than start. Would expect it still to be Nisbet who will start.

Hoping that everyone comes back from international break fit. Think I would like to see us swap Clarkson for Palaversa from team that started against Hearts. Think we will see very little of the ball in this one and need to be very tight defensively. If I am honest cannot see us getting anything from this. Folk I know who are Blackpool fans that went home and away stopped going every week during Critchley as football was so bad to watch. That said be dull and boring and winning a few games is probably what they need now. Feels a short term appointment to get them back on track rather than a long term plan.

Only recent keeper I can find who is playing at a decent level is Freddie Woodman who we had on loan. He is currently number 1 for Preston North End. McCrorie at right back Pollock and McKenna as centre backs. Midfield of Ferguson, Barron and Ramadani, Hedges and Christie as wingers feeding Miovski. Struggling for a left back. Hanncock at Airdrie maybe.

Cifuentes Is who I wanted us to appoint when we gave the job to Robson. Would have been raging if he went to Hearts. Absolutely no concerns about them appointing Critchley.

McGrath stayed on bench as Greeks won 2-0. Second was complete cluster fuck by keeper. Greeks look a really useful side.

Team for Croatia game Good to see Doak getting a start. Gordon being our only option in goal is a concern. Would have thought Adams might have started ahead of Dykes.

2-0 defeat. Very negative set up from start and looked like we were playing for a draw as that kept us ahead in group. Just kept getting deeper and deeper as game went on and it was only a question of when Belgium would score. Jack Milne got on at the end after game was already lost. Didn’t play anywhere near as we did last month against Spain.

Second bottom of league with allegedly the 2nd biggest budget in that league so not really surprised he is away.

Surprised by that as not thought he has looked up to speed yet.
