  1. Starting XI for game at Buckie today. 1. Joe Lewis 2. Ross McCrorie 3. Jack MacKenzie 4. Liam Scales 10. Vicente Besuijen 15. Marley Watkins 18. Connor McLennan 21. Dante Polvara 23. Ryan Duncan 25. Jayden Richardson 28. Jack Milne Game being streamed by Buckie if anyone is interested. https://www.afc.co.uk/2022/06/23/pre-season-buckie-thistle-v-aberdeen-supporter-information/
  2. Thought Ngwenya looked decent for Kelty last season in cup game against St Johnstone. When I saw him in game against Stenhousemuir he looked good going forward but could not really judge on his defensive abilities as Kelty were pretty much on the front foot all game. McKenzie looks more like a left sided centre back than a left back but is serviceable as a left back against most of the league.
  3. I was going to say you only beat me because you didn’t know how to copy and paste but felt that would have been unfair.
  4. Noticed you replying as I was copying link in. This is an interesting one and more likely to get me to use my season ticket than loan signings from Victims.
  5. Also have McCrorie who cover on right side of defence if needed.
  6. Another right sided centre back (or he played on right in two Wycombe games I was at) so assuming Gallagher or Bates are away. Gallagher would be preferred option.
  7. Victims sign Siegrist from Arabs.
  8. This is a player Goodwin tried to sign for St Mirren in January and has been dropping hints about wanting to sign for us since end of season so they have had plenty of time to get other targets who could come permanently. This is just a lazy signing. I would rather we give game time to a player who will be with us long term like Hancock or Towler to develop than developing a player for either of the arse cheeks.
  9. Then find another target. We simply should not be developing players for either of the arse cheeks. He should be left to rot in their reserves.
  10. Spent last season on loan with Notts County in National league.
  11. Think he could do decent job there and make Hibs chairman squirm even further.
  12. New signings announced. Way things are going some of these lads might be playing at Buckie on Saturday.
  13. Falls outside the managers stated target group of 24 to 28 and another centre back. Actually seen him play against Sunderland last season in a game where Wycombe were a shambles at the back. Not sure I would be touching anyone from that back 4 on the evidence of that game.
  14. It has improved and there are some decent players but still not great. Can be some decent games but last night was not one of them.
  15. Hearts allegedly signing Shankland from Beerschot for £500k. Bit of a gamble.
  16. Really good 2nd half. Girona have bottled it on previous two occasions so was good to see them make it up. MLS game I am now watching between New York City and Colorado is nowhere near as good.
  17. La liga play off between Tenerife and Girona been decent so far. Girona 1-0 up so far.
  18. Aye the number of games is odd for a player who is 26. Suggests injury prone but it looks like he played every game this season from Tranmere so maybe not. Cannot see us paying £400k for a player from league 2 so probably a non starter anyway.

    Ramsay

Interesting that Liverpool are saying Ramsey will be part of first team squad and will not be going on loan. Not sure he is ready for first team there but Klopp has shown he might actually know what he is doing.
  20. Totally agree will be a massive loss to Dons but also agree with Rico that for him to continue to develop he needs to move on although I do still think European route might be best for him.
  21. Millwall have a bid rejected for Ferguson apparently. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/lewis-ferguson-aberdeen-transfer-resolve-27268464.amp Apologies for the source.
  22. Victims away first for their title party. Oh joy.
  23. Gone to Honved in Hungary. https://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/20212936.tam-courts-completes-budapest-honved-move-dundee-united-exit/
  24. Jim McIntyre appointed at Cove to replace Hartley.
