Still think he would be a better option for the 10 to 15 minutes at the end of games that Ambrose gets. Admittedly a traffic cone is probably a better option than Ambrose. Boyd does look lightweight but he did last season and still managed to score. I would like to have seen him played or put on loan to league 2 side at least.
-
Boyd’s lack of game time has been puzzling to say the least. Looked decent when he got on last season but not been given any time this season which cannot be helping his development. If there is no intention of giving him game time here surely we should have put him out on loan to get him game time.

My biggest frustration with Palaversa is the number of times he gives the ball away. Any pass over 10m is a gamble. Jury’s out on him for me. Don’t agree the signings have crap since McInnes. We have probably had a slightly above average hit rate and made a fair profit over last few years. Agree with rest of Rico’s assessments other than Ambrose. I don’t think he has been that good. Nisbet is biggest disappointment for me. Thought as long as we got him fit he would score goals for us but it’s just not worked for whatever reason. Part of it is lack of supply/him not fitting the style of play. He kept coming deep yesterday to get the ball and not mobile enough to then get into the box. Even when he did Ambrose was usually in his way.

Might have scored a goal by the summer.
-
Think that was touted as the buyout clause when Juventus were interested prior to him getting injured first time.
-
That rings a bell. I know we were definitely in the stand behind the goal when Paterson was in charge so must be prior to that.
-
Sadly don’t think we will see terraces like that return. Safe standing areas just are not the same.
-
Think Thistle were not allowed to use terrace. I remember being in mainstand there for league game. Sure that was about then.
-
Don’t think they are allowed terrace so guessing would have to or just close the terraces.
-
First time I have seen him angry.

That was fucking awful. Beaten again by a team that didn’t even play particularly well to beat us without breaking sweat. Some of our players are clearly not footballers. MacKenzie probably our best player and should have started. Manger subs today looked like those of someone who is running out of ideas.
-
Assuming Jensen at left back then was really hoping Mackenzie would be back at left back to give us at least one left footed defender on the field.
-
The hangover kicked in before game started last time I was there with Dons. Even by car it’s a shit place to go. Last time was there for a Peterhead game even with a smallish crowd it took ages to get out car park after the game.
-
Defending from the front as Craig Brown used to say. As an aside really hope neither of these clubs come up. Livingston is a soulless place to watch football (live as well I suspect) and I hate Falkirk’s three sided dump. It’s the worst of the out of town stadiums with no pubs or train stations nearby.
-
Was a poor game and even Martindale said they would get football stopped.
-
Played mainly at right back for ADO and his games for Mcabbi seem to have been split between right back and centre back. Only went to Israel in the summer and played nearly all Mcabbi’s games this season so seems odd they would be letting him go. Player himself could of course have decided living beside and taking money from homicidal maniacs isn’t great and asked to move. Seems and odd one for us given we have signed Tobers and Jensen this month who both already can play role this lad does.
-
No goals in 17 games in Serbian top flight and no assists. Really hope not as that’s not just the bottom of the barrel but the under side of it being scraped.

Depends what you are looking for. Plenty of city centre hotels going from your standard Preimer Inns/Travellodges to the boutique type hotels out the Queens Road. Loads of decent bars in centre of town and really depends on if your looking for real ale type place or somewhere with younger crowd. Since Bairn was born lost track on restaurants not called McDonalds sadly but plenty of chain restaurants in Union Square that are always busy enough to suggest foods not terrible. If you let us know what sort of things you are looking for then sure someone will be able to help.

Spurs v Jimmys old team on TNT just now. Apparently Elfsborg have the lowest possession % of any team in the Europa league.
-
Dundee United being linked with Alan Campbell after his unsuccessful loan at Charlton. And Orlando will be here in 5….4…..3

Sold out the bottom deck apparently so shit run has not driven everyone away yet. Was hopping we would have a striker in by now but looking less likely we will get anyone in. Hopefully MacKenzie back so we can get him back in to left back and move Jensen into right back to rest Devlin who has looked knackered for last few weeks. Rubi is a difficult one. I don’t think it will do him any good if he is dropped but at the same time I am not sure exposing him to a support who were booing his every touch last week will do him much good either. As for Dorrington on the limited viewing of him I can see why Spurs didn’t play him even when he was one of only two fit centre backs on their books. Don’t think he looks anywhere near ready for games at our level let alone EPl. For that reason alone think we have to go with Rubi. Midfield I would go with one of Shinnie or Nilsen not both. Palaversa in with one of them with Clarkson in fromt of them. I would be tempted to switch Okkels and Keskinen round and have Keskinen on the left where he has played his best stuff for us. Okkels has looked very righted footed for a left winger and would like to see him on the right. Up front any one from Gueye, Duk or Nisbet and hope something works. In flat then 60 second stroll to ground away end 60 second stroll back to flat. 1-2 Clarkson and Okkels.

Hearts and Hibs allegedly interested in Jamie McGrath. Apologies for the source. Same article suggest we are still after a striker and another central defender. Another central midfielder is mentioned if we can get a few out.
-
I am guessing he is being let go as MacKenzie is here until the summer. Would be madness to go without any naturally left footed defenders in the team. I thought McGarry was defensively poor in most games. Looked a level below what we need.
-
McGarry confirmed as away.

Was he not the one where his old man was punting him round other clubs about 30 seconds after he signed for us as youth player.
