  1. Most recent one. Currently stuck in a rut with books. Haven't been able to get one started properly for a while. Got Private Eye subscription for xmas and already got wsc delivered every month so by the time I've read that lot I never get round to starting another book esp as I only ever read before I go to sleep at night. Have made a tentative effort to start reading a book about the History of Medicine which is pretty interesting thus far but suspect it has limited wide spread appeal
  2. Which is what I was kind of alluding to in the bit of the sentence you didn't highlight
  3. Have we not sold out yet? Even St Johnstone have sold over 2000 for their game against Brechin, come on dandies! In/Oot : In Travel: Train Pre-match: Crystal Palace for breakfast Game: Behind the goal somewhere Post-match: somewhere in glasgow town Prediction: frustrating, nervous draw
  4. I understand the frustration but we surely can't let every player go who's contract is up. I would hope we do our best to keep Maguire and Milson and wouldn't be at all upset if Aluko stayed. Young, Zander and Clangers on the other hand will be no great loss. Unfortunately can't see many takers for the last three while the first three will already have folk knocking on their doors. As for Jack, he is young and this is his first real run in the team so I think we can excuse the odd poor performance, especially when he seems to get shifted about the park alot. I agree about Pawlett however, he never seems to have regained the spark he had when he first appeared last season, hopefully with a decent pre season under his belt and back to full fitness he will rediscover that form next year but the worry has to be that he'll be taking over the Scott Booth slot on the physio's bench.
  5. He's still not recovered from getting chips thrown at him during the cup semi at Tyncastle. No wonder he bottles it in big games when he can't even cope with a game at Tanna-fucking-dice. He saved us last week but he can't continue to throw the ball in the net every time he heads to Juteville
  6. He saved us a point vs Saints last week but how often is he going to be allowed to absolutely bottle it against these pickey minks?
  7. What a too-wit-too do http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrKmKSF3qLQ
  8. Don't see why this shouldn't be posted on here rather just around SC members:
  9. What is all the fuss about? Fucking handbags and not one proper punch thrown, and as for the sending's off, pathetic. Even Old Firm brawls aren't what they used to be!
  10. Police all over the shop as we came back through Glasgow last night including 4 police cars and an ambulance just up the road from me, quite what the fuck was going on I've no idea as there didn't seem to be any scum in sight. Look forward to more acts of violence in the next couple of games.
  11. Tough game to watch. They were easily the better side, created some great chances and it is still a bit of a mystery how they never scored. Couple of brilliant stops from Langfield, and what looked like a couple off the line. We on the other hand only really had a couple of chances and never really got to grips with the midfield. Players looked knackered too and wonder if all these games on heavy pitches is catching up with them. Positives are another clean sheet, a point from a game we should, and would usually, lose, and the continued resurgence of aluko who looked lively and Milson who continues to impress. Also thought McArdle did well, although his distribution was terrible at times. Top 6 is now nearly impossible I would have thought (on a side note how dull would the season be if we changed to 10 and got rid of the split? Hearts have Europe, OF the Title and Accies relegated, atleast we have the articificial competition for "Top 6"..anyway) so now to really focus on St Mirren in a weeks time.
  12. Should this not be in the "Lets All Laugh At Hearts Thread?
  13. Probably true. Unfortunately I think our home defeat to 'well will cost us.
  14. Hibs above us now and united win means we really have to win tomorrow.
  15. http://www.metro.co.uk/weird/100140-czech-police-wonder-where-bridge-has-gone http://www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/8881370.__25_000_bridge_stolen_from_Selby_yard/
  16. It totally devalues and belittles the league competition. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree, but basically you're wrong.
  17. In/Oot: In Pre-Match: Drive from Glasgow (fingers crossed the A80 isn't too much of a nightmare) Match: Where ever they put us Post-Match: Back to Glasgow Prediction: Really need a win and we may just sneak it 0-1
  18. Well they could have waited till the SPL had announced when the season was going to start and it had been generally agreed that there would be an earlier start to the season next year. On top of that it is farcical that the SPL have created a rule which basically allows a club to place precedent of a friendly over a competitive league match. If the Celtic game is an away game then the home club will also lose out on significant match day revenue by moving it from weekend 2 of the season to a midweek in winter. Is there another league in the World that has taken similar action? And you may well say it is up to Aberdeen to organise a friendly but I'd be furious if they shifted a league match for the sake of a friendly. This rule is a work around for Celtic, to suggest otherwise is idiotic, however the rule itself if utterly ridiculous, whoever it applies to.
  19. Somebody needs to learn how to put a fucking bandage on properly!
