Turns out I was thinking of Stuart Smith And Sammy left at the beginning of the year (http://www.afcheritage.org/Team/CurrentSquad/player_show.cfm?player_id=814&Season=2008-09) No record at all of him on Soccer base but had one sub appearance in the league in 08/09 for us and that was it.

He played pre-season v Dundee 2 years ago.....I think and looked quite good (I may however be thinking of someone completely different)
