  1. any injury news? As shite as hearts are we really need Hughes back in the middle and Fraser out wide to allow McGinn to go back playing through the middle as a striker
  2. Could have told us before now Booked our train tickets a month ago now no cheap tickets left so no chance to get a few extra bodies along
  3. You're expecting any of them to have noticed what Clyde said? Most probably weren't even aware of their existence before this season. As for donating their share of gate receipts to charity, well that makes it all ok then
  4. All true but the wider point is surely that the SPL (admittedly with our connivance) and UEFA have created an situation where the rich get massively richer and leave the rest of us pleased for the scraps they deign to the throw us. In Scotland there is no doubt the growth of the old firm in terms of income, attendances and wider support over the last twenty years has had a massively negative effect on the game as a whole in terms of competition, excitement and wider interest as the cash has been pooled in the accounts of Celtic FC and Rangers FC (deceased). Yes they have always been disproportionately large compared to everyone else and dominated as a result but never to the extent they are now. You can see it in every league in Europe. How the hell can any of us dream to compete with a team that gets £16M thrown at it from UEFA? Is there really any point in throwing us a relative pittance?
  5. On the upside we may well see some matches at Hampden. On the downside there is the travel issue and the lack of national involvement, identity and enthusiasm for a tournament when it is held in one country. tbh this is all a side issue to the ridiculous idea to increase the tournament to 24 teams, immediately diluting what was the major factor in making the Euros far better the World Cup for the last decade or two, competitive competition.
  6. Heard this quoted but folk elsewhere saying it is nearer £80k Whatever it is small change compared to the £16M or whatever they will get. Off topic but is anyone else fed up with the way Scott Brown sits down like some petulant 2yr old whenever his hip is playing up and he needs to leave the field. Just fucking walk off the park and get subbed like everyone else you utter shit
  7. Un-fucking-believable Except it isn't in the slightest So despite all the bullshit above presumably he was persuaded to switch for the cash (if true) At least we shouldn't have to listen to him on the radio anymore
  8. I could almost accept it if they just said well done and we look forward to the extra cash we will get as a result, but "friends", really? Which retard was responsible for that?
  9. See no point in that what so ever. Would be nice however if Sky put extra money to some clubs other than the OF for once.
  10. ooft united are at it again, The Rangers fans winnae be happy
  11. I'm reading some retarded huns are claiming that the boycott was precipitated by the heinous crime of calling them "The Rangers" on their website
  12. Several on P&B seem quite rational about it and are furious about Green's "official" boycott
  13. I don't see why they don't just sell direct to huns as many clubs have done recently. I'm sure many sensible huns (sic) want to go and can't be doing with the bullshit Green is pedalling. Would also have the added bonus of trigger a civil war in Govan/Larkhall/Stirling/Belfast/Dundee etc etc etc As much as I like the idea of united trying to fuck the huns over financially I think they are far better saying nothing, sticking to the spirit and letter of the rules and gaining the moral high ground
  14. If this isn't an example of bringing the game into disripute I don't know what is. Ignorant misguided arrogant vengeful cunts. It's like they have distilled the very worst of Rangers and come up with their current incarnation
  15. What the fuck. I'm still confused by what United did. Did Sevco not say they wanted to start from division three. I hope the sfa tell united not to share the gate money
  16. I read some report that described it as wildepoopen
  17. Not scored against them in 3yrs apparently, seems as good a time as any to break that record. Apparently they have come to a deal with HMRC to pay off their tax bill over the next 3yrs so some good news for them, they are still rank though and hopefully Novacoviack (?sp) is injured after getting a knock v Hibs. Shame wee Ryan is unlikely to be back for this
  18. Absolutely no chance there was 15,000 there oh and lol
