  1. no fucking shock there. Well should be fined too if their game is cancelled, got away with this shit for too long
  2. Looks like the Juniors are struggling to get any games off the ground: http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=96840 However a supposed elitist league shouldnae be comparing themselves to the fucking juniors. The SPL make clubs jump through ridiculously expensive hoops to get into the league, which has resulted in many going into administration, yet long time members get away with shit like this.
  3. Apparently they can't use their undersoil heating at night due to the noise. Surely the fail this SPL rule then:
  4. apparently the companies are: Mr. BEN BROWN - v - Heart of Midlothian Western Commercial - v - Heart of Midlothian BED AND BATH _UK_ LT - v - Heart of Midlothian CMYK Digital Solutio - v - Heart of Midlothian WHO???
  5. from P&B On a side note it will be interesting what happens with the pitch at Fir Park now that the bad weather is back. Should get penalised if they start pulling the same shit as last year
  6. why the fuck do they get tickets anyway. With the shitty numbers they bring upto Pittodrie surely it is always pay at the gate. Caught something of Radio Scotland about them getting taken to court by a creditor next week. Anyone know anything about this?
  7. don't see why it should be in doubt. Is it not an SPL requirement that they have undersoil heating? The only reason the match could get cancelled would be a frozen pitch, therefore they have failed the SPL rules so we should get the 3pts btw bbc weather says that at KO the temp will be 0C!!!
  8. A brand new AFC DVD will be hitting the shelves next week – just in time to make it to the top of those Santa lists! The SPL is a decade old and the Dons have made their mark on the competition right from the off - Eoin Jess scored the first goal of the SPL era against Dundee on August 1st 1998. That’s where we start this look back and then we bring you 15 classic matches from the SPL era, at least one from each season, with great goals, dodgy strips, dodgier haircuts, a 6-5 steal from the Steelmen and a collection of glorious wins over the Old Firm to boot. And we head into Europe too on the bonus DVD, the epic win over Copenhagen in the UEFA Cup in December 2007, captured in full. From Anderson to Zerouali, they’re all on it so buy a copy, sit back and enjoy. The DVD is available in the AFC club shops only and is available for the bargain price of £14.99. The perfect Christmas present for Dons fans young and old! The DVD will be out later next week
  9. Think it has been mentioned on here before that the stewards and Police were completely out of order on Saturday, harassing the Well fans and treating them like violent criminals for the heinous crime of standing and singing. They are slowly but surely trying to kill any kind of passion and excitement at SPL games and will only succeed in driving folk like that away from the game, folk that no doubt spend a large proportion of their income on the clubs. We've all been subjected to it at some point but the pricks in yellow took it to a whole new level on Saturday by the looks of things. Only time they don't seem interested in harassing visiting fans is when the OF come to town, when they are too feart to do anything about behaviour that is a million times worse than what the 'Well boys were upto. SATURDAY TIMS HUNS
  10. from wiiki: Recreation Park, Alloa: Capacity 3000 Stark's Park, Kirkcaldy: Capacity 10,104 So I would guess we will get pretty much as many tickets as we want for Rovers and about 1500-2000 for Alloa.
  11. Press and Journal may be able to help. He also posts on aberdeen-mad from time to time, I think.
  12. I'm more concerned that Bossu is only 2 weeks away from fitness
  13. from memory we had about 2,000 last time we got Alloa in the cup. Would prefer Raith Rovers as I've never been to the ground, however it does involve going to Kirkcaldy, a town with more inbred fucknuts than any town in Scotland
  14. better wrap up warm the day lads. BBC Weather have the temp at 1500 as 2C!!!
  15. I agree completely, and I suppose this season was always going to be a let down unless we went on a decent run early on in the season (something we have never done under JC) For all the disappointment of the cup semis and league games like killie away I wouldn't swap last season for any I've seen in the last 12years, and for that, I suppose, as much as I hate it to admit it, I must be thankful to JC
  16. I would argue that the league was unremittingly depressing last year, and was only out done by the cup semi's. Surely europe and the win vs celtic were the exception rather than the rule. Whatever last season had some of the best "highs" in over 10yrs but also some of the lowest lows.
  17. This time last year I was stuck at work while all you cunts went of to Madrid. You deserved every bottle and firework that was thrown at you cunts
  18. ok, so basically the past doesn't matter? All we should judge JC on is the here and now? Previous seasons don't count? I don't buy that but say we do just ignore history surely JC should be judged on his team's performance this season. In that case he is currently failing. We have lost too many points at home and have been embarrassingly pumped out the diddy cup by killie. The league seems very open, with no real stand outs, yet we are trailing the jambos and arabs by a significant margin. We have a glaring, russel anderson sized, hole in our defence and our best midfielder is continuously played out of position which at once weakens both the midfield and defence. We should be in a better position this season, that we're not has to go down, at least in part to JC. On the other hand the league is very tight and we are still in a good position to challenge for europe (presumably our ultimate aim these days). We have seen a good run of results can push us up the table very quickly and hearts and united will drop points just like we have. So, and I don't think I thought this way when I started typing, JC should be judged on the results at the end of the season. Failure to get into Europe, which will probably mean failure to get top 5, could, maybe should, see the end of him. Until then he deserves a chance to show us what he can do.
  19. more fuel to the fire, I'm outta here: Nicked off Mad MANAGER PLAYED WON PCNT Alex Miller 42 11 26% Steve Paterson 68 23 34% Ebbe Skovdahl 159 55 35% Paul Hegarty 20 7 35% Jimmy Philip 726 263 36% Tommy Pearson 233 87 37% Roy Aitken 123 50 41% Jimmy Calderwood 199 83 42% Ally MacLeod 76 33 43% Willie Miller 155 72 46% Pat Travers 576 271 47% Jimmy Bonthrone 204 96 47% Dave Halliday 436 206 47% Dave Shaw 196 94 48% Eddie Turnbull 291 140 48% Ian Porterfield 89 44 49% Alex Smith / Jock Scott 178 93 52% Alex Ferguson 455 271 60% Billy McNeill 50 31 62%
  20. Seems a realistic target but need start by winning our home games vs 'well and falkirk and avoiding defeat in killie and ICT. If we remain undefeated a win over hearts should see us level with them
