why is all this stuff not advertised on the official site?
-
The story would suggest we already have one a scouting team:

we have a scouting team

http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=26387 Over 80 games in 2 seasons suggests that he is atleast not as injury prone as many players we have signed (yet). On paper looks like a solid enough signing with a decent shot, good fitness and the right age. Fingers crossed and good luck to the lad, certainly saying all the right things about wanting to come to afc.

Touzani or Dave Bus to replace Zander at the weekend???
glasgow sheep replied to milners's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Touzani should be nowhere near the defence. Bus should be no where near the stadium. Put seve back into defence and get Touzani and/or Walker in the middle. Job's a good un' -
another day, another rumour. I hope someone is keeping a note of all these Career Stats: http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=26387

3rd place - lets play with some optimism for a week ?
glasgow sheep replied to Ajja's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
I wouldnae trust anyone's opinion that professes to be a "severin lover". Diamond was poor in the semi and gifted a goal on Sat. Don't think the loss of him is a total disaster. The subsequent tombola draw may result in a disaster but we should have the players to beat united. Lets just hope JC doesnae have too many stupid ideas about how to replace Zander. -
both?

3rd place - lets play with some optimism for a week ?
glasgow sheep replied to Ajja's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Maybe JN should take charge for the United too given JC's blank spot for Harry Potter's tactics. Having said that we should beat united at home but reckon the well game will be the one we slip up with. If we beat united I may even come out of my early retirement and head to fir park -
according to the P&J Blunderwood (copyright aberdeen-mad) will be absent from todays game as he is away scouting for players. Kinda wished I had gone up now as pretty sure JN has a decent record when he has been in charge, and certainly makes less bizarre tactical changes. Anyway 2 things spring to mind. It is still mathematically possible for us to get 3rd. Pretty unlikely but surely the manager shouldn't be swanning off scouting players at this time. Secondly is that not what a scouting system is for? Or indeed the job of Nicholl or Clark? http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/608282

No chance. Played for Dunfermline - NO Played for and been dumped by United - NO Mates with Calderwood Jnr in Holland - NO Great banter in the dressing room - INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE "Versatile" - ONLY PLAYS 2 POSITIONS, NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Tonights EE: Jimmy Lay off the local heroes
glasgow sheep replied to mizer's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
I see so it is our fault that Duff and Mair are shite. And there was me thinking they were shit long before arriving at Pittodrie. Also does he not realise that if a player is shite then the boo boys (rightly or wrongly) will get on their backs whether they are aberdonian like these loons, Dutch like Bus or Fife minks like Jackie-can't-believe-I-persuaded-afc-to-pay-me-for-a-year-McNamamara. -
are they not all leaving?
-
Maybe it would all be for the good. Huns get to the uefa final, so still have loads of games to play. They get fucked over 5-0 by Munich in the final, lose out on the last day of the season at Pittodrie to lose the title by a point and then only have 1 day to prepare for the cup final, where QotS pull of the shock of the week and beat them 1-0

Is there anyone you haven't sent an email to recently? you could try this: http://www.scotprem.premiumtv.co.uk/page/ContactUs/0,,10002,00.html I sent a message using that earlier in the season and got a reply within a few days. Better than afc anyway

Brines is a fucking idiot. Was he not ref at the league cup semi? Possibly the worst 45mins of refereeing ever seen (shame it was followed by the worst 45mins collapse ever seen). Someone told me that Kenny Clark is retiring this summer. Does that mean we don't even have a half decent ref left in the SPL?

all I read was "waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh it's not fair" About time they played to everyone elses rules, commonly called The Rules, rather than their own. Could we have the funniest end to a season ever with the hun imploding in indignation as they blow the league, europe and the cup in the space of a few weeks.

Chris Crighton in the P&J: Time for Calderwood to deliver
glasgow sheep replied to mizer's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
chris crighton's pen name is Pissed of Merkie, from The Red Final fame. He's the one that rights 10,000 word essays in 2pt print on the lack of taches in football these days -
quite possibly never checked But then we have had numerous u21s from other clubs that he has been more than happy to promote ahead of our own kids, so maybe he isn't against youth players, just aberdeen youth players
-
Seems ridiculous if that is true that we didn't put our names forward. Hibs will likely win the place anyway (unless they finish 3rd somehow) and JC will say that the players won't get a proper break, more games, risk of injuries, fade toward the end of the season etc etc Obviously pre-seasons in Holland, Egypt and Ireland don't have any of these problems.....
-
He'll be taking Kelly's spot as 3rd behind Langfield and A.N.Otheruselesscunt. When do we get fed the line that these youngsters that are being kept on and Maybury are included in our 12 "new"?
-
I said as soon as those loons went off to peterhead that their afc careers were over. Every year JC does the same thing. Folk presume it is to give them first team appearance but come May (or April this year) they are punted anyway. Never seen any of them play but heard good things about McVitie and Strachan so a bit surprised that they have been let go. Mind you I'm a bit surprised most seasons about the kids that are released yet you never hear anything about them again. Presumably this is because they aren't very good and not because afc has fucked their careers. Finally it was pointed out on afc mad that the only kids JC has given a debut to and promoted from within are Kyle McAuley and Chris Maguire. So either our youth system is a fucking shambles or JC has no interest in giving the kids a chance and developing a "conveyor belt" of talent a la Hibs. Or both I suppose.

wasn't planning on going anyway but definitely won't be heading up for a thursday night game. The SPL should do the decent thing and wipe this abortion of a season from the record books.
