  1. let the huns win. They have won so many trophies their fans don't give a fuck any more (see celebrations at 90mins if they do win). The arabs on the other hand are our direct competition and although we have more trophies than anyone else outside the OF given we haven't sniffed a trophy for 13yrs that's not going to last for very long. That and the fact the gubbed us in the SF and lobbed stuff at our keeper.
  2. one win in ten and folk expect us to win 4 on the trot? Never going to happen. If we win the next 3 we will be in the top6, there is no doubt about that. We won't however so get to look forward to another game against gretna, where ever they may be playing by then
  3. did gretna lose their 10 fans as well as the 10 points? http://www.afc.premiumtv.co.uk/javaImages/5f/e9/0,,10284~3598687,00.jpg[/img]

    yeah for obvious reasons
  5. From what has been said though it would seem that Gretna may struggle to get a team together for it. The SPL haven't postponed the game, that isn't the same as the game going ahead. Presumably there is still a significant chance that Gretna won't be able to show up and will have to forfeit
  6. no relegation so an even less exciting end to the season for those clubs that don't make the top6
  7. thank fuck harcus doesnae type as he speaks
  8. we have won the last 2 midweek games I believe. I missed the first one but I certainly remeber bouncing about town after the 2nd one
  9. better to cut a drift the bottom 9 in the SFL and create some kind of regionalised pyramid structure, which is what the SFA are aiming for in the long run, but Gretna going bust may just come a bit too soon. Presumably if someone does replace gretna it will be from somewhere other than the Highland League given the poor excuse for a football team that is Elgin, so presumably someone like Whitehill Welfare, Spartans or perhaps a Junior side
  10. well then the huns would be playing Thur-Sat as the tims are down for the Sun Setanta game
  11. can't see how it can be as the Huns have to play Thistle midweek and they will never make them play Sun-Tue
  12. Our game will be a week on Tue as the Huns play Thistle the same midweek and they play in the Cup Final on the Sunday before it. Would prefer to have the game on the Wed as am off on Thur but no worries
  13. Who's that lying on Ibrox? Who's that lying on the floor?
  14. Leg breaking cunt Just sent off for a horrific challenge apparently. Mixu and Walter head to head
  15. surely we could use some of that "european cash" to hire a hitman...or failing that some clogger playing for united or motherwell to take them out before we play them
  16. there were almost tears in the pub I sat stunned, in silence, for what felt like ages after the goal went in
  17. What a disaster. If only one of those chances at 1-0 had gone in. We deserved to win that, and unfortunately have probably passed up our best chance of a cup final in years. Mind you is our record at Parkhead not better than our home record against this mob? On a side not what a horrific crowd...10,000 for a cup QF vs Celtic..although I can fully understand why as I certainly couldnae be arsed travelling up for it. Those that were there however came across on the tv really well
  18. shame the smoke from stoners "fags" is obscuring the banners in the rds
  19. we have been in 2 youth finals in recent years, both against celtic. We won one at hampden and lost one at McDairmid Park. The win at Hampden saw us chanting Drew Jarvie's Barmy Army and the like. Anyway be interesting to see if any of the loons in those two squads ever came to anything
  20. Currently working my way through "The Ball Is Round. A Global History of Football". http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ball-Round-Global-History-Football/dp/0670914800/ref=pd_sbs_b?ie=UTF8&qid=1204502140&sr=8-1 Onto the last 200 or so pages and we are into the 90s and the global change in football driven by money and the break up of communist europe. Has been an excellent read, although at times you feel you want a bit more detail and a bit less stuff about england but covers in reasonable detail the game throughout europe, africa and south america, with a little less about North America and Asia.
  21. I think you're all on crack Rangers (A) 0pts Gretna (H) 3pts St Mirren (H) 1 pts Inverness (A) 0pts Falkirk (H) 1pts
  22. good point sharpie I think I had left one game early before JC. Now I have left several early, including the killie game and the united cup game. Maybe I've realised that there ain't no merit in suffering to the bitter end or maybe JC is even more depressing than I thought
  23. Presume Rangers, Celtic, Motherwell and United are there already......probably Hibs too. Looking at the fixtures even if we pick up our form I'm not very hopefully. If we don't win on wed, infact, I would suggest it's all over bar the shouting Current standings: 5 Hibernian 26 6 38 6 Falkirk 27 -2 36 7 Hearts 27 -6 33 8 Inverness CT 27 -9 33 9 Aberdeen 27 -13 33 FIXTURES: HIBS Falkirk v Hibernian Hibernian v Celtic Hibernian v Motherwell Hibernian v Kilmarnock Rangers v Hibernian Motherwell v Hibernian Hibernian v St Mirren FALKIRK Falkirk v Hibernian Falkirk v Motherwell Inverness CT v Falkirk Hearts v Falkirk Falkirk v Kilmarnock Aberdeen v Falkirk HEARTS Hearts v Rangers Inverness CT v Hearts St Mirren v Hearts Hearts v Falkirk Hearts v Dundee Utd Kilmarnock v Hearts ICT Celtic v Inverness CT Inverness CT v Hearts Inverness CT v Falkirk Kilmarnock v Inverness Inverness CT v Aberdeen Gretna v Inverness CT ABERDEEN Aberdeen v Motherwell Rangers v Aberdeen Aberdeen v Gretna Aberdeen v St Mirren Inverness CT v Aberdeen Aberdeen v Falkirk
