  1. I have this on tape somewhere Came out about 10yrs ago
  2. Come on now, lets forget about all the comings and goings and look forward to a thrilling trip to Falkirk for the cup game To lighten the mood our ref is........Rev Mike McCurry
  3. One Adult (£18) and one conc (OAP/Student/U16) (£10) going spare for the game this saturday. PM me if interested GS
  4. but it stopped enland playing their expansive passing game oh hang on
  5. I've taken the whole day I fear a sub 10,000 crowd for this, with about 6000 from us.
  6. Sounds like I've made a good move by avoiding that place all week
  7. presume so he will have been on a decent wage and from what Hart said it looks like the big earners are having their wages slashed
  8. http://www.afc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/sub/TVNewsDetail/0,,10284~1210007,00.html? Seems to fairly genuine and sincere. I have no problem with Barry and would rather we sang his name on Sat to show him and the board that we feel he has been a decent player and can still be a decent player at afc. Dunno what Clark and Hart have been saying but tbh not going to miss them as much or, in Clark's case, at all
  9. good post and agree with most of it but come on we can't have every thread turning into a discussion about the in and outs of our squad Lets get back to laughing at the gorgie tinks:
  10. local lads aberdeen fans have always had a particular strong desire to hurl abuse at them just be any other saturday for clark really
  11. exactly what I'm predicting......fuck knows what I'm expecting
  12. doubtful Runs January 20 – February 10 sauce: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_African_Cup_of_Nations
  13. tbh the news could have been alot worse. Looks like Zander will be staying, Barry will probably stick about till August and JC still might stay. If this is as bad as it gets at afc ever again we'll be laughing.
  14. do they bother with such things now? Does Vlad not own HoMFC lock stock and barrell, and thus doesn't need to go through such tiresome procedures and publishing fully audited accounts. As for creditors calling in debts. There have been loads of stories in the past about Hearts having x days to pay the Police, shopping centre etc, is it just more of these stories?
  15. what the fuck does this have to do with transfer news?
  16. I doubt very much that there would be a boycott of any sort, particularly not of the euro games. Equally if we win the cup semi and keep things ticking over in the league the crowds will still turn out. If this "drama" effects our results then the crowds will dwindle but hart and clark staying or going will never have much of an effect on anybody. It's been years since we had a player capable of capturing the fans imagination to such an extent and we certainly don't have one now
  17. I will need the german for 100 stamps please
  18. That's the funniest thing I've read in ages Pot, kettle, black springs to mind
  19. This surely means Lovell, but especially Miller will be off pretty sharpish too. Interesting that Hart has turned down Plymouth. He may come to rue that more than potentially signing a 3yr deal + testimonial with the dons. Lets hope nobody comes in for Barry over the next few weeks.
  20. We can't afford to have this drag on much longer. I wonder if this has been playing on the teams mind fairly heavily over the last few games. Certainly Hart and Nicholson havenae been their usual selves recently (Clark is always shit and zander is always zander). I would like to see the press really push JC on his contract rather than just accept all this bullshit about budgets, players leaving, rebuilding etc. My feeling is that if he wanted to stay he would have signed by now. He may well still sign, but this will probably have as much to do with the lack of interest in him from down south as with his ambition and desire to take afc onwards from here
  21. My God. He's really racking up the excuses here isn't he. Mind you I fear he is right, given his complete inability to unearth decent players. Almost all the players he has signed that have done anything of note were already "big" names in Scottish football. We clearly can't afford to replace those leaving with similar "names" so we would have to rely on his scouting network and contacts (sic). Time for JC to show what he is made of. Will he step up or will he run off in hope of a big contract down south?
  22. wtf!! Firstly we will never need anywhere near 6000 tickets so looks like the club will be out of pocket Secondly I thought German football was cheap: £28 and £20 is a fair bit more than I was expecting , but will obviously quite happily pay it Thirdly, while I think supply will not be out stretching demand this time, a big well done to afc for putting their hands in their pockets and ensuring we, the fans, are looked after this time. Also a well done for the ballot. Should have been done last time but better late than never
