  1. and further to that can someone text me the details as I will be and no where near a computer for most of tomorrow. Having earlier said SELL SELL SELL, I know hope that we keep all 4 (yes even clark) until the end of the season, cause we sure as hell won't get replacements of any quality in before the end of the month. Give JC (or whoever) till August and we might have a slim chance
  2. so much the same as has eben speculated here and elsewhere for the last 72 hours
  3. eeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkk http://www.jamboskickback.co.uk/showthread.php?t=60736
  4. I want him to sign but I'll be far from upset if he leaves. It's the old problem of wanting to hug him one minute and beat the shit out of him the next
  5. I'm not convinced that it is such a significant issue as you say, esp as the crowds have been increasingly supportive of JC in recent times, even giving the old "oh jimmy jimmy" an airing on occasion. The problem here is, yet again, JCs ego.
  6. dinnae forget JC in that rant
  7. I used to be very much in the JC get tae fuck brigade, for want of a better description, but over the course of this season have increasingly felt we need to keep him, not least as it will keep the squad together. However if he is going to fuck us around like this it will cause more harm than good. I can imagine that he'll end up signing a new contract in June when he realises that nobody of any stature wants him. By which time we will have missed the boat (again) with new signings and lost half our team. JC it's time to put up or shut up.
  8. he probably believes that shit Would he fancy working in Edinburgh? Or is the bright lights of the bottom of the English First Division (Championship) that he craves?
  9. Are we in a catch 22 situation? JC won't sign a new contract unless the board demonstrate their ambition, in the form of re-signing the 4 "rebels" and giving him transfer funds, yet the players won't sign until JC shows some commitment. Does JC have a job lined up? Where exactly does he feel he can go that he can achieve as much as he can at afc? Deluded manager, deluded players. I have to say I'm with the board on this one and hope they take a hardline with JC. He gave the players a deadline, the board should give him one
  10. So Zander is staying? Makes sense as he is the one that has been coming out with the quotes. Why put him up for interview and say things like "we'll see how the fans react" if he is going? I imagine he thinks the fans response will be "one zander diamond" while clark gets torn to shreds. If Clark is leaving and still plays the abuse will be monumental, yet everyone of us will be glad he is leaving. Will Barry Nic get the same level of stick?
  11. problem is it is hard to say to the players, "sign or get tae fuck" when the manager doesn't have the commitment to sign his own contract, presumably, much like the players, as he is awaiting a call from England while being deluded about his market value
  12. should JC then be demoted to running the reserve side then? Dinnae talk rubbish. As long as we are paying them we should play our best players.
  13. On the one hand we seemingly have an SPL packed full of mediocre sides. Very few have looked at all impressive this season. We have been dire in the league for most the season yet sit 4th. No team, apart from perhaps Well and Rangers, have looked particularly impressive when they've played us this year. Many were rank rotten: United, Hibs, Hearts, Gretna. The rest average. Then on the other hand we have a resurgent Scotland side featuring more players from Scottish sides than for a generation, along with a clutch of EPL players who have seemingly comfortably switched from SPL to EPL. Meanwhile we have 3 sides in Europe after xmas for the first time since god knows when, celtic through to the knockout stage of the chumps league again, rangers into the uefa cup after a credible performance in the "group of death" and then aberdeen also in the uefa cup, first non-OF side to do as much in europe since the 80s. Are we being overly critical of the quality of the SPL? Do we overestimate the quality of other leagues or have the three sides in europe and the national side just been incredibly lucky?
  14. I still blame JC for believing there is a bigger club out there wanting him and not signing his contract. Anyway from the Sunday Herald:
  15. problem is they might not even have a ground so would get kicked out anyway
  16. better highlights tomorrow night they also didn't show falkirk's one-on-one with langfield where he pulled off a stunning save
  17. 2nd half was pretty good entertainment. 1st half was them passing the ball sideways lots
  18. I was in line with it It was outside the box Elliot is a twat. Two shocking challenges to get sent off
  19. it is just the goals anyway at this time on a saturday How the fuck did naismith and ferguson score headers vs united
  20. best united season in years and still can't sell 900 tickets for ibrox
  21. brilliant Why has this not been bumped up yet? ok, they managed a point against a terrible killie side. However they got another man sent off and have now slipped behind St Mirren (who have 2 (two) games in hand) and find themselves in...................... [move]11 Hearts 22 -8 21 [/move]
