  1. He was on the pitch at halftime recently ?united game
  2. I'm delighted to bump this up the board again today Mind you maybe we'll need to re-start the original United thread soon too. Anyway lets have a look at kickback today:
  3. I swear he met Miller for the first time yesterday. Absolutely shocking level of link up play between the two. I realy think Lovell should be punted in Jan to free up some wages for someone that can still play football
  4. well maybe not but it is the kind of game we would have lost earlier in the season.
  5. What a great weekend. We win a game we really should have lost The arabs get well and truely horsed by Falkirk Hibs fold against ICT, again And the future Champs League winners get beaten at home. Then even sellick manage to drop a point at home to St Mirren......SAINT MIRREN!! Probably just as well for the huns they got their game cancelled as gretna would probably have hammered them. Anyway bring on 3rd. 3rd by Jan? 1 Celtic 15 26 33 2 Rangers 14 23 31 3 Motherwell 16 5 29 4 Hibernian 16 4 26 5 Dundee Utd 16 3 26 6 Aberdeen 16 0 24 7 Hearts 16 -1 20 8 Inverness CT 16 -9 19 9 Falkirk 15 -3 18 10 Kilmarnock 16 -7 16 11 St Mirren 15 -16 15 12 Gretna 15 -25 5
  6. Absolutely superb result, but a terrible performance. It was however the kind of game we have been losing this season, and also the kind of game we won, frequently, last season. I think JC got things wrong to start with but he well done in making the changes at half time that certainly made a difference. Problem is that without zander the defence is even more of a shambles and killie still had ample chances to win the game. Looking at other results I don't see any reason why we won't finish third, which makes the crowd all the more disappointing. Doesn't help when the away crowd can be fitted in a large people carrier. Talking of the killie fns, fair play to them, singing throughout but what the fuck were the stewards and police doing? I didn't see them do a thing wrong yet they were surrounded by police and stewards who seemed to kick out half of them throughout the game. Totally over the top.
  7. and other stuff Norm delighted with fans gifts - particularly new socks! Legendary Dons fan Norman Goldie was yesterday presented with a hamper thanks to the kindness of Aberdeen-Mad visitors. Norman was at his sister Jessie's home when he was presented with the goodies, plus a cheque for £500. The 79-year-old lifelong Dons fan was attacked on Friday 28th September as he was walking in Kincorth by a cowardly thug around a quarter of his age. The attack outraged so many Aberdeen-Mad visitors that donations to a quickly set-up Norman Fund came flying in from all over the world. The collection, which ran for a week, raised an amazing £526. Most Dons supporters recognise Norman, who is a regular at Pittodrie and is seen decked out in Dons flags, scarves and badges, as well as his trademark one red and one white sock. Norman thanked everyone for their kind donations, and said he is going to use the cash for his next season ticket. But he was more delighted with the other contents of the hamper - a year's supply of his favourite sweets liquorice allsorts, two large boxes of biscuits, a christmas cake, and a pair each of top quality red and white socks. He said: "I am delighted with the gifts, and I thank everyone who has been so kind over the last few months." Norman has been able to make it to a couple of games since the incident with the aid of a stick. And he is looking forward to his first away game in three months when he plans to head down to Motherwell - but there is one match he is desperate not to miss. He said: "I'll certainly be going to the Copenhagen game, nothing can stop me missing that one!" Norman's sister Jessie said that the attack hasn't stopped Norman going out or to the games, but he has stopped going out late at night. She added: "We can't believe the support he has got. I just want to thank everyone." Aberdeen-Mad editor Craig Stewart added: "When I started the fund I expected to collect about £30 or £40 to get Norman some of his favourite treats. "I never expected that we would be able to help Norman so much, and it is all down to the generosity of the Aberdeen fans."
  8. Same team as v Hibs? Or do you reckon Seve will come straight back in? I would love to see Aluko start but not a chance Dung or Clark will be dropped after the hibs game. According to RedWeb we've still got quite a few out too:
  9. what the FUCK!! No one told me this when I gave you money for a ticket What the fuck am I meant to do? I ain't getting no autobus!!
  10. He would surely have bought the land to add to his potential housing development, would he not? As I said if he offers the most then he gets the land. What is wrong with that?
  11. If and when Pittodrie is sold it will be sold to the highest bidder. If that is Milne big deal. There is no way Milne would get away with rigging it. Milne maybe many things but this myth about his only interest in aberdeen being the land it sits on is bullshit
  12. do motherwell not have form about cancelling games? Sure the weather was rotten, or we had 4 players standing after the flu struck and they refused to cancel. Pretty sure the game was then cancelled due to their shity pitch being flooded....again
  13. Someone on mad has said 16,000 have already been sold The afc ticketline could go into meltdown tomorrow morning again
  14. What go to the SPL: Gonna cancel our game like you did for the glasgow rangers Then turn round and go: Ach only joking, we don't NEED your "help"
  15. Well they haven't but should they? Tbh I'd rather play the game. We have from Sat to Thur between games and I'd rather we didn't stew thinking about Copenhagen for 2 weeks after the killie game. Much more important we get on a wee run and build our confidence (and sort out, or play as many different, defence)
  16. ach it's cool I have my ticket already.....like all proper fans lol

  20. YAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSS Guess it means a late night race up to Aberdeen later this month after work COME ON btw if, and it's a big if, we beat Copenhagen would we be the first club to qualify having gone through the preliminaries and group stage with only one win?
