can't be arsed posting all they pics so just go here (btw I wouldnae read the ridiculous bitch fight that the thread decends into) http://www.afc-chat.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=9175&st=0

I was going to post that we should only take it if it doesn't disrupt our pre-season, but seeing how shambolic are pre-seasons are anyway I don't suppose it will be much of an issue. Good bit of cash I suppose with TV and a sellout, even after Real's big pay cheque
-
think clangers showed why he should never have been dropped. Organises the defence far better and gives them more confidence than Soutar ever does. Better shot stopper too. Terrible kicking but I'll accept that tbh. I'm sure we would have at least a couple of extra points this season if he had been playing
-
I'm torn about this one. On the one hand I totally agree with Slim and think that although Soapy hasn't thrown any goals away like clangers occasionally does I don't think he gives any confidence to our defence and does seem very slow in going down for shots. I'm sure if langfield had been in goals we would have lost a couple of clangers but he would have saved 4 of the ones that got past soutar. Then on the other hand the fact that the cunt doesnae want to play for us and would rather be sitting on the bench (or stand) at ibrox means I see where you guys are coming from. Either way if Jamie is back in it shows up JC for being more of an arse than we thought.

bump get yir pennies oot

well as we have had a different back line in every match so far this season I see no reason why that should change on thur (in fact I would actively encourage it as he can't possibly go with the shambles he put out on sat)
-
Come on he must realise we are inundated with creative, skilful wingers such as Derek Young, Jamie Smith and Chris Maguire.....did he just think he would waltz into the team past them lot?
-
saw that too mizer Wouldn't be surprised if Touzani suddenly appears out of no where too as he also got a good right up and no doubt JC will think his "european class" will be an asset (while clearly being a negative for him in the SPL) Some one even suggested seve up front on another site.....I'm just worried it was Jimmy Calderwood in some Ukranian internet cafe (or from his pool side in majorca)

is it any wonder that we lack motivation and are tactically inept when our manager is away on holiday for most of the international break. According to another site has already has plans to fuck off in October during the next international break. Midfield is quick frankly a disgrace and bar Barry Nic I can't see any good reason why any of them should get a game on thur. Defence was yet again different and unsurprisingly gifted two goals to well. Quite why we resigned touzani is a mystery to me and everyone except JC. Why we signed 2 wingers yet play derek young, jamie smith and maguire as wingers while leaving them on the bench is equally a mystery. JC is rapidly losing any lingering good will he had. We would accept defeat (grudgingly) if the team looked interested, if we were out played by a better side, or if the team was set up in a sensible formation with players in the right position but just had a bad day. It's not that JC made countless poor decisions yesterday, it was that he has made the same or similar decisions for months. He doesn't want to be at afc and is clearly more interested in touting himself to some english division one side (and topping up his tan) than sorting out or team. He may turn things around and we should see how we do in the next, hectic month, but if we don't beat gretna, thistle and st mirren surely that will be him

craig hignett had a house in banchory funnily enough....just a shame he had no family in it. Fair enough jackie might want to move back to the central belt when he retires and buys some property with that in mind but surely his family should be based in the NE while he is working here.
-
what in gods name is it with afc players and weird "virus" like illnesses? anyway confident about today....which means will probably lose.....but it is these games that made the platform for our success last season and we should be going out to have a proper go at well. Esp with thur and a trip to ibrox on the horizon

well that was just fucking stupid why move to aberdeen and buy a gaff, and stay, down there

January transfer window:speculation
glasgow sheep replied to capitalsharpie's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
I would argue that we have a stronger squad than last year given all we lost was anderson (and brew) but have gained McNamara, Mair, De Vischer, as well as the three youngsters from england. -

CIS cup draw - another impending firhill farrago
glasgow sheep replied to Bobby Peru's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
What a prize tool. Partick Thistle, on league position, are only above East Fife and Dunfermline. To say it is a hard draw is a complete joke. To say he has never had an easy draw is outrageous. You may have forgotten QP JC but you can bet your last dollar that we haven't. I also seem to remember an embarrassingly poor performance at Motherwell in a QF too. -
Should the story not be: "Jimmy Calderwood was never on the shortlist for the Leicester job, infact the Foxes had no idea who he was until he sent them his CV via email, fax, recorded delivery and postal pigeon. Jimmy Calderwood commented, "I'm pure gallus byraway and am so more tactically advanced than pretty much every coach in this country. This is down to my Dutch experience and my contacts in Holland are unsurpassed. Clearly I am wasted at a piddling little club like Aberdeen but will stick about until the right offer comes along....maybe Watford or Preston. Leicester don't know what they are missing, although they should as I've barely been off the phone to them in 2 weeks and my agent has been camped out side the Walkers Stadium since Thursday."

bring it on even better that we get to shove it right up the bin man and Bobby Biscuit didnae realise you were in the weeg. Should say hello to the GUASC in hubbards pre match -
when you think about it given that Richard Gordon, Rob McLean and Michael Grant (Sunday Herald) are all dandies we probably don't do too badly. How many high profile media types are hibs or hearts fans (and that Grant Stott and the presenter of the Real Radio phone in don't count)
