I think the STV interview cut that bit in bold off the end. Are we presuming the 1st question refers to the SFL as a whole? This will be passed easily. If so then the supplementary questions must relate to a)which league and b) potential reconstruction. If these are anything other than a straight majority then Seveco won't be in Div1. But yet again it's all fucking smoke and mirrors. Has anyone at any stage stated exactly what would happen from one day to the next?

I hope the sick, nauseating feeling I have in my stomach will disappear over the next week, just as it has done several times through this whole affair but Longmuir is clearly driving the SPL's Div1 agenda. Worrying

Not sure about Regan and Doncaster promising 1st Div football to Green, although given their utter ineptitude I can believe it. I was starting to think however that all this bullshit isn't about Scottish Football dying but Seveco dying. I don't think Green has the money or time to try and get Seveco from the 3rd back to the SPL and the club will either liquidate again, fail to enter the league or be sold off to the lunatics.

Oh and important to point out afc have been unequivocal (unless you are Jute) in their opposition to Seveco anywhere other than Div 3

<Deep breath> More and more SPL clubs came out stating that they would vote no, actually vote was always going to be yesterday In the meantime the SFL arranged a meeting to discuss the situation. In preperation for this meeting cockwomble and regan along with Longmuir produced document stating, and I quote, that there would be "financial meltdown" and "Armageddon" if Seveco were excluded from the top 2 divisions. This document also suggested the SPL would form SPL2 if they did not get their way. SFL clubs met and were rightly pissed off. Raith Chairmen Turnbull Hutton labelled Scottish Football "corrupt" and stated he had been lied to be both the SPL and SFA. He was not happy. The MSM then started printing stories, obviously coming from Doncaster, that the SPL vote would be delayed to see what the SFL would do and that there was a plot to let Seveco into the SPL. Cue meltdown on various forum and radio programmes. Seveco in Div apparently not viable SPL then held vote and voted 10-1 to reject Seveco Regan then states there will be social unrest if Seveco don't get their way Think that is about it

Yorkston stated on GMS this morning that he, judging by the feedback at the SFL meeting on Tue, thinks that Seveco will be playing in the 3rd division and that most clubs don't buy the bullshit being peddled by Regan and Doncaster Cockwomble.

I don't think Milne has but there are a number of SPL chairman who have, and some quite explicitly like Gilmour at St Mirren. There are a number of SPL clubs driving this bullshit, but despite Regan's bluster if the SFL stand firm it won't happen. Also note that Cowdenbeath, like Falkirk, would only vote against the current proposal. Watch the SFL crumble.

I have already emailed along these lines to the club earlier today, and will continue every day until they make a statement. The unremitting bullshit from the media, who are obviously being briefed from Hampden by the suits of the SFA and SPL needs to be countered by someone within the SPL. This needs to be, and perhaps will only ever, come from afc. Furthermore somebody needs to come out and say that Regan's comments today were a sackable offence and that Doncaster will be out the door as soon as this bullshit is done and dusted. I can see me backing afc but ditching all away matches, apart from selected lower league cup matches, and perhaps, if the sfa carry on like this, ditching my SSC membership, but ditching afc at this stage will be tough

Am more than happy with afc and they have gone out on a limb on this within SPL circles. It feels wrong to punish them if the rest of these cunts set up an spl2 or parachute the cunts into div1. I'm really torn at the moment. Time will tell but I'd like afc to perhaps articulate their disgust at statements made today by Regan and suggestions that there should be an spl2/div 1 option.
