I would have thought the current situation is ideal for Celtic (plc). They want/need rangers in the spl but can't be seen to vote them back in. What they needed was for the other clubs to vote in a way that their vote means fuck all. Of course the vote has gone the wrong way for them but they have had the chance to sit back and let everyone else make the decision for them. Rangers (deceased) have lost the vote, sellick can now vote as their fans wish and avoid any nasty reprisals.

I thought it had been announced as Scumdee before I left for holiday. Would prefer Dundee, obviously, but can see how the Pars may have a case.

Just off the phone to a hun mate who is usually pretty sensible and is reasonably intelligent. They just don't get it. Going on about how he doesn't see how this helps the Scottish game, it's going to ruin it, what fun they'll have the the 3rd div and how it will be great for all these wee teams having the Super Rangers visit every other wk. Thinks that a competitive spl is only about rangers and celtic competing for the title, didn't seem to have even realised that this institutionalised hegemony is what is/has killed the game in this country and is what we are most upset about.

Fucking sorted No club12/Rangers/Huns United in the SPL. I may have to get on the blower and get my ST sorted

I'm still catching up and after the euphoria of reading about the huns liquidation and near inevitable expulsion from the SPL just 2 days ago am struggling to come to terms with the ubernegativity and conspiracy-theory-athon on the here and elsewhere. This is a great chance to revitalise Scottish Football. Make much need changes to the league set up (one organisation, more promotion/relegation spots to the top league, play offs, better division of cash and more democratic voting structure. It seems certain that Club12 won't be allowed into the SPL from the limited stuff I've had a chance to read. I can't understand why any club in the SFL will be want the huns jumping straight to Div1 and can imagine a significant fan back lash if they did. I am still a long way from walking away from Scottish Football or Aberdeen. If Aberdeen do the right thing I'd find it hard to walk away even if the SFL allow them into Div1. I am waiting to see what happens over then next few weeks before renewing my ST. Hopefully righteousness will prevail and Club12 will be in Div3 at best. Then hopefully we see the 1000s of lost fans that have drifted from the game in the last few years coming back to Pittodrie, Easter Road, Rugby Park and the rest. Whatever, at least we are nearing the end game

What if you get on a train at say 7pm, from say Inverness, but said train won't get to, maybe Glasgow, till after 10pm? Do they jump on board and grab your beer at 9pm?
