Given the recent trend for prosecuting people for what the say on twitter and facebook some of the threats posted on RangersMedia and the like must be of questionable legality. They have already posted up numbers and details of most of Duff and Phelps.

Probably but if they managed to cobble together a team for div 3 I suppose the expectation would be they would rise through the leagues quite quickly so fulfilling the hun requirement of winning things. 4-5yrs of purgatory in the SPL with a shite team, no trophies, no european football and regular defeats would probably have an even bigger impact on their support.

Well only read the first page and not sure about this: Surely now is the time but it is the implication that any NewCo would get straight into the League that is the issue

If they go NewCo then in theory they could struggle to get in anywhere if the SPL say no. For an SFA full licence you need 3yrs accounts and existing youth set up amongst other things. Similarly there are minimum requirements for entry to the sfl that I'm not sure a NewCo could meet.
