  1. Don't believe it for a minute. How many stories about imminent takeovers and deals being struck have we had in the last 2 months? This is more bullshit. This yank's deal isn't feasible even with a guarantee of no penalties (apart from anything he won't get that guarantee in time to strike a deal). Don't worry
  2. This is all madness. £11M to buy all the assets, pay of Whyte, re-sign all the players and get a CVA, are people really buying this? Nobody has enough to buy Rangers or even their assets. Currently none of the offers seem to even be in a position to create a meaningful newco never mind "save" Rangers as is. The Huns support should be getting their arses in gear and forming a new club themselves, seems the current one isn't going to be around much longer. Duff and Phelps have strung it out as long as they can but they must be in a position where selling off the assets is the only option left.
  3. I thought I read someone say he played cb
  4. I think there are flaws with the design (round about at Stonehaven ffs) but not enough to stop the fucking thing getting built.
  5. Why the hell would Ng want to buy Rangers without a deal with Ticketus unless he was going to Liquidate the fuckers?
  6. I'm amazed SPL2 isn't back on the table as that would surely be the get out of jail free card. Huns would be relegated to SPL2 (same league organisation etc) thus punished to the lowest spl league but only away for a year
  7. Stats from the survery thus far (well from Sunday) There have been a total of 11291 responses. If Rangers are liquidated and reformed as a Newco, should they be allowed immediate re-entry into the SPL? No (10807) - 95.71% Yes (484) - 4.29% In the event of a Rangers Newco being allowed immediate re-entry how, as a supporter of another SPL/SFL club would you respond? I would continue to attend SPL fixtures as normal (1299) - 11.50% I would NOT attend any SPL fixtures at all (6025) - 53.36% I would continue to attend SPL fixtures but boycott any fixtures involving the Rangers Newco (3596) - 31.85% I support an SFL team so don't attend any SPL fixtures (371) - 3.29% Do you back the SPL's Financial Fair Play Proposals? Yes (4112) - 36.42% No (7179) - 63.58% By club Aberdeen There have been a total of 884 responses. Dundee United There have been a total of 511 responses. Dunfermline There have been a total of 351 responses. Hearts There have been a total of 1158 responses. Hibernian There have been a total of 1234 responses. Inverness CT There have been a total of 121 responses. Kilmarnock There have been a total of 256 responses. Motherwell There have been a total of 262 responses. St Johnstone There have been a total of 208 responses. St Mirren There have been a total of 430 responses. Celtic There have been a total of 4861 responses. Rangers There have been a total of 290 responses. Non SPL 724
  8. wow that was a pretty massive response we got there
  9. Is the Smith figure from the period he was sole manager rather than co-manager with Scott?
  10. They never had any money, it was all just an ego trip for Paul Murray, who is surely as tainted as the rest of the former hun board in anycase. Wonder what the scum fans make of this, I was under the impression they wanted Murray and co to take over.
  11. Great news but won't hold my breath. The first step in sorting Scottish Football has to be abolishing the SPL, if we then have a league run by the sfl or sfa it will be a start. Scrapping the spl, sfl, sjfa, etc would be even better.
  12. Given what Rangers, Hearts, Motherwell and Dundee have been through I think it's a case of better the devil you know
  13. Worth pointing out that when asked about succession planning at the Edinburgh Roadshow a few weeks ago Willie Millers response was to laugh and say Football clubs didn't do that.
  14. Well Brown stabilised us as bottom 6 but not relegated. Saturday could have been any game at any point in the last couple of years since he was appointed. I don't think we "bottled" it as such, I think we just put in our usual average performance and were unfortunate that Hibs had the ability to create and take a couple of chances. Brown better change the habit of a lifetime and make some attacking, and wide signings this summer. With Milson, Osbourne and Cadger hopefully fully fit next season we will have, again, basis for a reasonable side, but that will count for nothing if we continue to resort to playing the likes of Fallon (wonder goal aside), McArdle (out of position), Clark and Mackie. Arnie has been poor since his United goal and probably isn't much of a loss on current form. If we have the tactics next season you may as well not reopen half the ground after the first week or two.
  15. Think both clubs have sold about 14k, hopefully crowd will creep above 30k..... anyway who gives a fuck bring it on [move]COYR[/move]
