This was in the minutes from the DST meeting I posted last wk, nice to see Aberdeen Journals (and Mizer) on the ball as ever. Seems a pretty poor money saving decision to me. They have a pretty decent presence in the North East as it is and surely benefit greatly from the Central Belt set up. Not sure how narrowing our scouting can be anything but detrimental.

Interesting reading once you get past the initial clichéd ambitions and statements. Looks like we will be cutting back in some areas of our Youth set up ("focusing on the North East"). No prospect of a stadium any time soon. AFC Community Trust (with charity status) to take over Youth and Community work - (?tax dodge) Pre and Half time entertainment - whoop-de-doo Oh and the end to football as we know it with a "Global Super League"
