  1. We had about 6,000 out of a crowd of 20,000+
  2. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, but hopefully.

  4. Not a chance. Even without tv coverage I doubt both clubs would sell 25,000 I reckon we'll have about 15,000 and they'll have about 20,000
  5. Also spotted this on the official site which is presumably as a result of the meeting Kowalski posted about:
  6. Fans will be well aware of the current financial problems suffered by Rangers FC in the last few weeks. DST consider it pertinent to offer their views on this matter. DST’s stance on the matter is uncompromising. The sporting integrity of Scottish Football is critical. We want our club to take the moral high ground by insisting that all member clubs play by the rules, comply with the law of the land as well as the game, and fulfil their obligations to other clubs and to society as a whole. DST fully believes in these principles and is sure that all right minded supporters will feel likewise. We wish to send a clear message to the board and management of AFC that we will not condone any departure from these principles, and that they should not be party to any future arrangement which allows a club to renege on its legal and moral obligations. Rangers led most of the top Scottish clubs into ruinous debt by their unsustainable overspending from the Souness years onwards, and the creation and structure of the SPL has institutionalised the unfair distribution of wealth within our game. Now is the time to challenge the OF’s stranglehold to ensure a more equitable league structure and format. The OF need the rest of Scottish football much more than we need them. Without a league of opponents to compete with, they cannot survive. The media argument that the OF subsidise the other teams and keep them afloat is spurious. The reverse is in fact true, since they get a totally disproportionate share of the money in the game. This unfair subsidy must cease immediately. This is watershed for Scottish football. DST believes that the supporters of AFC and supporters of every SPL club should now send a strong and clear message to their club’s directors that we expect and demand change to the structure of the game as a whole. It is in every club’s interest (including the OF) to level the financial playing field, and to have 2/3rd majority voting in the SPL. Clubs must also find ways of improving the product on the park by increasing variety, competition and entertainment, thus providing better value for money. DST will continue to monitor events and will be collecting comments from members soon

  8. What a day, great to see such a superb support, vocal from first to last. Even better to see that support rewarded with a great performance and a win. Cracking game too with more excitement and drama than half a dozen games. Hopefully Jack and Fyvie aren't out for too long, although maybe will give Pawlett a chance for a few games. Still buzzing now, and delighted I decided to take today off
  9. Loved him out flanking the stewards at the end to hurl is shirt in the crowd, he seemed almost as pumped as we all were
  10. hmmm, not happy about 12:45 but yeah suppose best of the two options. Now can anyone find footage of our last semifinal against them?
  11. True although only County, QotS, Morton and Ayr currently don't meet the standards for the SPL and County are obviously addressing that in the summer so the ships already sailed on that one.
  12. Their main, I think, will be to get spl2 up and running to give teams less of a drop of if relegated, presumably with a ten team top league eventually. Hopefully they come up with something a bit more inspiring and live up to their anonymous rhetoric.

  14. It's nothing short of a disgrace how shit we are at winning rugby matches
  15. 2-2 FT Not a bad game from what I saw with St Mirren dominating up till Hearts equalised then pretty much all Hearts till the end. Ayr v Hibs coming up at 3pm
  16. Surely this is all bollocks. Why the fuck would anyone buy Rangers, even die hard fans, while the big tax case is still undecided? Why would you voluntarily expose your self to a liability of at least £50M? Aside from this bullshit the nauseating way the huns players are being held up as some kind of selfless, philanthropic individuals by many is staggering. How many weeks did they take to agree to the pay cut, how many (exaggerated?) statements of the imminent death of rfc did the administrators have to make before they agreed to deals with significant clauses in their favour attached? I don't blame them for that, it's their fucking livelihood but to suggest they are doing this for the good of rangers is yet more bullshit.

  18. Also it should be pointed out that Motherwell and Dundee paid a lot less than 10p in the £1 when they went through a cva, so although it seems unfair it is actually a harsher deal than others have gone through. Sadly Motherwell have shown cheating pays by staying the SPL and now qualifying for the Chumps League, as have Dundee by surviving in Div 1 despite cheating twice, if anything they are worse than the huns as they atleast should have learnt their lesson
  19. tbh I can't see myself walking away from Scottish Football whatever the outcome. I don't think we'll get what we want, but equally I don't think they will roll over completely for the OF. The Old Firm have ruled the roost for 100 years, why walk away now when it doesn't change?
  20. Big Al, this was posted last night. On first reading sounds horrendous but I guess from the HMRC point of view if the Huns go bust they get nothing, if they don't do a deal then that is the most likely state of affairs, by agreeing a cva on their terms they are likely to maximise the cash they will get. Was probably always going to happen. In other unfortunately good news for the Huns this morning, as well as the no redundancies news there are suggestions that Whyte won't be a secured creditor which may mean that rfc aren't liable for the ticketus deal and thus a lot less in debt than previously thought
  21. BBC seem to think the huns are already down to the third division: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/rangers And in case they fix it:
