Apparently from the Sunday Mail, the SPL are thinking of having a winter break next season, for two weeks in January. Also in their infinite wisdom they are thinking of using this break to take four spl sides to dubai or new york to play in a tournament, the SPL Elite Cup. Other plans are for the 4th Round of the cup to shift from Jan to Dec, season is starting in August (presumably so the OF can get their big money friendlies) and the Scottish Cup Final will be on a Sunday due to fixture congestion and a UEFA ruling that prevents us from having our cup final the same day as the European Cup Final.

Interesting set of fixtures and given our form you would hope we could get a good few points, however it's always dangerous to assume anything, especially with our mounting injury list. Dunfermline (Home) - win Hibernian (Away) - as shite as hibs are probably another point and goalless draw St Johnstone (Home) - could be any result, they however are continuing to do well this season, draw St Mirren (Away) not the team they were last time we were down, but we have a terrible record down there - draw Celtic (Home) Consi sent off in a 2-1 win for sellic - loss Motherwell (Away) they are in a bit of a free fall at present and the fans are on McCalls back - win 9pts

Hibs losing and the Pars winning was nice to see. Dunfermline play Motherwell midweek who have been shite recently so there must be a decent chance of seeing hibs bottom. Hibs relegated has a nice ring about it
