  1. One could argue they should be doing this most weeks anyway (I know they already give a smaller number of tickets every week) but well done anyway:
  2. Aye the quote I posted was actually made during the Basel V ManU match when ManU were getting beat 2-0
  3. As promised, our home record against them is pretty formidable but our record over the last year or so (home and away) is fucking mince. 10 Year Record vs St Mirren at Pittodrie: Played 9 Won 7 Drawn 1 Lost 1 For 16 Against 4 Only St Mirren win in last 10yrs was the last game we played: 10 May 2011 Aberdeen 0 - 1 St. Mirren SPL 5,955 Only Draw: 22 Mar 2008 Aberdeen 1 - 1 St. Mirren SPL 9,779 Last 6 v St Mirren: 30 Jul 2011 St. Mirren 1 - 0 Aberdeen SPL 5,011 10 May 2011 Aberdeen 0 - 1 St. Mirren SPL 5,955 06 Apr 2011 St. Mirren 3 - 2 Aberdeen SPL 3,489 16 Mar 2011 Aberdeen 2 - 1 St. Mirren Scottish Cup QF REP 7,330 12 Mar 2011 St. Mirren 1 - 1 Aberdeen Scottish Cup QF 4,120 15 Jan 2011 Aberdeen 2 - 0 St. Mirren SPL 9,740 Current Form (SPL) Aberdeen: Played 6 Won 1 Draw 1 Lost 4 For 9 Against 12 St Mirren: Played 6 Won 2 Draw 1 Lost 3 For 6 Against 11 Aberdeen: LOSS 0-2 Killie (a) DRAW 3-3 Pars (a) LOSS 1-2 Well (h) LOSS 1-2 Huns (h) LOSS 1-2 Tims (a) WIN 3-1 Arabs (h) St Mirren: LOST 1-2 ICT (h) LOST 0-5 Tims (a) WON 2-1 Pars (h) DRAW 0-0 Jambos (h) WON 1-0 St J (a) LOST 2-3 Hibs (h)
  4. Loved the commentators comment "chelsea and arsenal won't be frightened about drawing basel". Perhaps not but given that Basel did significantly better against ManU than either of those sides this season it does kind of some up the patronising arrogance and ignorance of said commentator and sections of the English footballing media/support.
  5. Have you tried the search function? Less reliable than an aberdeen defender.
  6. Did everyone read "Never Again" by The Red Final? Excellent book and I think we really did think that "never again" would the club allow this to happen again.....that was written in 1995
  7. In/oot: In Prematcher: Train then toon Match seat: RDU as usual along with a decent turnout from the Glasgow Reds Postmatcher: Toon then train Prediction: Dons win, I'll keep saying it till it happens Crowd: 7500 Stats to follow later
  8. Shit I was going to watch that, is it repeated?

Don't forget you're going to Pittodrie on Saturday
  10. I was the same, and I still can't really believe we will be fighting relegation come May but the evidence to the that effect is mounting each week. The only consplation I can take is that we are almost always shite at killie and I have seen much worse performances there from better dons teams. Yet another game where we seemed to have loads of possession and territory but created fuck all, then we gift them a couple of goals (the first was embarrasing) and games over. Quite how Fallon and Clark stayed on the pitch I don't know (or even why they started) but in all honesty few if any can get pass marks for Saturday. After a brief blip and load of goals vs united and the pars that's four straight defeats, if that extends to five or six then can't see how broon can stay. I honestly don't think we're much worse than everyone else in this league, however we're in a rut and will remain there unless we start geting points on the board.
  11. This is my recollection. Surely it is more than just about the individual performance of the keeper but also how he organises his defence and reacts to players in front of him, both of which Los Flappos had major issues with last Saturday, I've never seen a keeper look so nervous and indecisive as Gonzo last week.
  12. If we had any first team player who was even half competent at LB this fucking clown wouldn't even be in the team on current form never mind Captain. As it is as a captain he ranks up there with Mark Kerr for ineffectuallness (if that is a word). Obviously our players are thick as pig shit but even then who comes out and admits publically that 2nd best is good enough in their job?
  13. You'd think so. Magennis did get into some good positions last wk and is often a handful (although clearly not a footballer) and did score. Mackie did better than he has done in recent wks (yeah I know). So suppose they deserve to start but he has to give one or two young guys a chance this weekend.
  14. They have. SMG and AAM have put in £2.5M worth of interest free loans in the last financial year. Spending our way out of this ain't an option. £2M net loss, £1M operating loss, £1.8M increase in debt to £15.6M and must be pretty damn near insolvent
  15. Our debt increased by £1.8M last year, despite heavy investment in the form of loans by the board. There will be no more investment, our debt is £15M for fuck sake
