The Aberdeen website is saying both are in line to make their debut. We'll find out for sure when Jimmy Thelin does his press conference today.

Had both games on a multi screen tonight. Great result for Killie but they were very fortunate. I think they'll struggle this season, and Copenhagen is very likely to be as far as they go in Europe. St Mirren, Brann I thought were very good. Considering Nilsen was their captain it says a lot for him. Maybe it was just St Mirren making them look good but they absolutely dominated them and should have had the tie wrapped up long before the end.

Be interesting to see if Keskinen starts. He hasn't played since 27 July according to soccerbase so might be rusty, but Thelin might give him an hour to get up to speed. Palaversa I think may actually need a pre-season behind him first, but be good to at least give him 20 minutes so that everyone can say he's not up to it like they did Nilsen.

Evening Express saying add ons could take it close to £9m.

I think the Sidibeh links are a lot of nonsense, just some transfer gossip website trying to get clicks.
-
Sensational @redordead. I mean, your takes on Miovski are wild, but gold star for consistency and refusing to accept you were wrong.
-
Apparently Bowat not happening. Presume the Austrian interest has pushed up the price. Makes sense, seemed a lot of money.
-
Interesting in that he's left footed. That would perhaps signal the end of Richard Jensen (who isn't going to be happy on the bench as it'll cost him his Finland place).
-
Aye they're fake but spot on. I bought the Roma away top and a few Scotland retro strips from it and they've all been great, and even after multiple washes there's no problem. It's about £20 to find out.
-
Try DH Gate, they're still advertising them. It can be hit and miss. You might have to wait months, you might get wrong sizes, you might not get them at all. But sometimes they're fine and usually spot on.

Have only watched the highlights as was in Edinburgh today for the Fringe, but from what I saw.. Rubezic is a likeable lad but - certainly at the moment - he's not good enough. His positioning is woeful. Would still like to see another centre half signed. Stephen Robinson the first of what will be many managers this season giving it the "we controlled the game" patter, not realising this is just how Jimmy Thelin likes it.
-
I think confidence is a big issue. He knows he's the successor to Miovski and it's weighing heavily on him. Vinnie and Gueye coming into the team and scoring when Sokler is starting games and not won't have helped him much either. But there's something there. His movement is good; getting himself one on one with the goalkeeper is a sign of someone who positions himself well, reads the pass, and times his run.

Well, on paper, yes. You could argue their squad is too big. But their manager is a novice, apart from a few good players their team is still average (I don't look at their strongest XI there and worry too much), and even though they strolled third last season it was very much handed to them on plate with Aberdeen and Hibs being so poor.

Ken it's only the second weekend of the season, but Hearts losing to Dundee opens up the chance to go five points clear of them. When you consider they'll have European games coming thick and heavy soon enough, any sort of lead over them would be very handy indeed.

18 seconds here you see him collect a long ball, nip past Milne, play a one-two and force a save from Roos. Nicky Devlin was quoted afterwards praising Milne for his performance by saying "I thought he was outstanding in Helsinki because he was up against their best player (Topi Keskinen) who I played against in the first game. I thought he was brilliant." Devlin and Keskinen both got booked in the 97th minute for I imagine some handbags, but I can't find the incident.

Miovski absolutely should be starting - we don't owe Girona anything and they haven't met the asking price yet. Chances are those negotiations drag on anyway. He could still be here by the time of the Queen's Park game. If MacDonald is fit (and he's training) then I'd pick him over Rubezic. Palaversa likely makes an appearance at some point if Shinnie and/or Nilsen run out of gas again. Morris isn't good enough. Stop making excuses for him. 2-0 to the good guys.

Scott Burns reporting a four-year deal for Topi Keskinen with a €1m transfer fee. That's a statement of intent from the Dons and I fucking love it.
-
Says on the website he "awaits his UK permit". I imagine it will be quicker than others (from memory Miovski's took a month) as he presumably had a UK work permit at Man City.
-
From the man himself on the Aberdeen website, he says:- “I am mainly a number six, a holding midfielder. I also play as a number eight. I think I see myself as a creative midfielder, I like the ball at my feet and I like to play football. My passing is one of my strengths. I am happy to play wherever the manager wants me to play, and do a job for the team. I come here to prove myself, to give 100% in training every day.

One year deal with an option to extend it to three is a smart move. Gives us cover for DM (although he describes himself as "a creative midfielder", young guy, is Balkan so will replace Miovski in the car pool, his name provides plenty of pun opportunities. Winger now and we're sorted.

Bit of a palaver getting him here.
-
Totally disagree. I don't think we should be sending a 16 year old to the Championship at all. He had a fun cameo at the end of the season, and no doubt we'll give him more chances throughout the season. But he's not ready to be a first team regular. You've also got to be careful with players that young that you don't overplay them. He's still developing and he'll do that playing U18 football and training with the first team.
-
According to transfermarkt, he was once rated at €5m and is now €350k. Has played about 12 games in two years. Probably the type of fella we should take a punt on though if going cheap, plus we need a Croatian to add to our Balkan contingent.
