I might be reading this wrong, but Shinnie was a left-back when he first came to Aberdeen. He played left-back for Scotland as well, but I'm sure that's a game he would like to forget...
Irishman Charles O'Hagan was the team captain from 1906-1910. He was also the first Aberdeen player to be capped for his country. He also went on to be the manager of Sevilla later on in life. He had a very interesting life.

The Hun job is a poisoned chalice. I don't think McInnes would be that daft. Anyone know how Calvin Ramsay is going with them? I'm surprised he was sent there on loan as a plastic pitch is not the best coming back from a serious injury.
Just finished this. An amazing read. The author has a masters in English literature and you can see that from the book. His description of the hell he went through cuts to the bone but there are a lot of beautiful moments as well.
Not sure about what scout but It will have to go through this guy if we do sign Lazetic.

That looks like Dumbarton is in administration as well. Kind of get the feeling that they will not be the last.

Not say it is a slagging match. Just don't want it to end up a slagging match. As I said, I've enjoyed reading the past few pages as It's good to see things from both sides.
It's getting a wee bit heated here, guys. It has been a really interesting read over the last few pages but we don't want it to deteriorate it to a slagging match.
Some on here will remember @Madbadteacher. He had not posted that much over the past couple of years but he was a fixture on the site for many a year. I'm sorry to say that he passed away recently. He had a hard time with it healthwise and it all caught up with him. RIP Nick.
