Dirthy Filthy Hun Scumbag Vermin (deceased) and Poundland tribute act
scotfree replied to mizer's topic in Football Chat
I hear that they are charging £7.10 for a half blue bar of chocolate. ? -
I watched a few clips on YouTube of climbers walking An Teallach and thought that Aonach Eagach looked more technical. But that was me sitting on a computer in the air con thinking that. A bit different being up there.

Top notch post Stooge. One of the best posts on here in a while. Great to see you back min.

Ex Hun, so that would be a no from Tup. ?

Has anyone climbed An Teallach? It was not a mountain that was on my radar before I moved over here. But I've reading up on it and I'm pissed off that I never climbed it. It doesn't look to technical, but has enough going for it to get the blood going.

I see talk of Stephen Glass going either for the manager job or Dof....

Just saw the news. I was not expecting that this season. Best thing for all involved I think. I have to say that the news comes with a tinge of sadness. I've always liked McInnes as a guy and the past 8 years have on a whole for me have been fairly positive but we have missed the next step up that he has not been able to take us to. All the best Derek,

It could well be with this years season being fucked up because of Covid, but this team does not feel like my team if that's understandable. When we were uber-shite back in the 90's the team still felt like they were Aberdeen players, shit or not. I don't feel like I have a connection to this team. I've been a Dons fan all of my life and I've never felt this way before. It's not like I got to many games as I've lived in Oz for 25 years, so It's not being unable to get to games that has brought on this disjointed feeling. I'm not sure why as I thought the appointment of Cormack as chairman was the way forward, but I do feel like there is something just not right. I really want this season finished and I'm hoping that Aberdeen FC feels like my team again next season. Ho-hum.

Just saw a post on Instagram of Scott Wright in the Hun top. Post was liked by Funso Ojo...

It would have been good to have got a defender to take the place of Mckenna... Ash Taylor gives me the fear. ?
-
He doesn't look well.

I can spend a happy hour just looking at the Highlands on Google Earth. It's about the closest I'll get to see them for a while. ?
-
I heard on Off The Ball that he was one of their worst guests as he just sat there and gave one word answers. ?
-
Nope. I don't drink. Do you not think we can beat the Huns?
-
I have a feeling were going to do them over. 2-1 us.

Aye. Looks like him. I'm ashamed to say that I don't know much about him. He does seem to have had an interesting past. " George Campbell had been the youngest ever player to play for Aberdeen. He came on a sixteen year old substitute against Morton in 1975 to make his First Division (current Premiership) debut. Hellas paid a record fee of $20,000 to secure the skillful, tricky youngster already dubbed "The White Pele". In five seasons at Middle Park he would score 17 goals from 104 appearances with the club reaching a best ever NSL placing to that point when Runner's-Up in 1981." https://melbournesoccer.blogspot.com/2016/11/george-campbell-returns-to-aberdeen.html

A few years back the club had a replica of that shirt for sale. I sent off for one, but for some reason they sent me the 1970 cup winners shirt. That is the one with the long sleeves, which really nice looking, long sleeves are not the best for the tropics... I do wear it when it gets "cooler" here. I got in contact with the club about the mix up and they sent me the 1976 for free. I thought that was top notch of the club shop.

Jim Hermiston. 1969. He left at a fairly young age (27) to join the police and ended up moving to Brisbane where he remained in the police until he retired.
