  1. Reynolds looks dodgy as fuck.
  2. In/out ~ Out Fuuryboots ~ Watching the game on BeIN Sports. Pre-Match ~ Chewing my fingernails After-Match ~ Going to bed Prediction ~ 1-0 to the Dons. Rooney to score on the 89th min.
  3. Saying goodbye to my mum and dad as I walked on to the plane that was going to take me to Australia was one of the hardest things I ever have done. I really think It was harder for my parents than for myself. I was only 21 at the time, and 22 years later, I'm still in Oz. My dad and my brother told me that I would be lucky to last 6 months....

  5. I'm sure Jess only coached. You are right in regards Black being a number two when he left for Metz.... I was a devastated 13 year old when I found out he was moving.
  6. I was just thinking about Strachan being manager of Scotland and It got me thinking about ex-Aberdeen players who ended up managers. There must be a fair few of them. Some that come to mind...... Wee Gordon. Willie Miller. Alex McLeish. Mark McGhee. Billy Stark. And who would you say out of any ex-player future manager has had the most success?

    Films

I don't know the last time that I enjoyed a mainstream film......
  8. I read a book a year or so, about Alistair Urquhart, who was interned in a Japanese prisoner of war camp. I was saddened to see that he past away at the age of 97. He joined the Gordon Highlanders in Aberdeen at the start of the WW2. The experiences he went through were just shocking. He was only 10 miles away from Nagasaki when they dropped the bomb...... It's well worth a read. It's called " The forgotten Highlander" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alistair_Urquhart
  9. Welcome to the site, guys.
  10. I'm going back through James Lee Burke's, Dave Robicheaux series. Burke's prose is outstanding.
  11. I can touch my nose with my tongue. Not sure if I have a big nose or long tongue.....
  12. My first game was at Easter Road, 1982. I think It was a 1-0 win to the Dons. Seems like a life time ago........

    Podcasts.

Anyone know of some good podcasts? Does not have to be football based. It can be Music, comedy, books, travel etc, etc, etc..... I've been having a look myself, but what a lot of shite you have to go through before you find a decent one. Cheers.
  14. I really think that McInnes has Storie pencilled in for the CM position. It would be great if we had a "marque" player coming in. But, I can't see that happening now.
  15. Looking at Wikipedia,It seems that he's played 73 games for us and scored 3....
  16. It was that bad that I ended up wanting England to win in both the cricket and rugby.... I feel dirty....
  17. Any news of anyone else coming in? I still have my fingers crossed that we are looking at someone else....
  18. No offence, but I kind of thought the yanks would be the same as the Aussies in that way.
  19. Mate.... You don't know how bad It was here when they were winning everything. They can get rather bigheaded about shit like that.
  20. Offfttt! I never thought about that.
  21. If we play like we did against St Johnstone, we have no chance of a win. We need to be much sharper to take any points.
  22. That's not fucking hard.
  23. Question. Over here, they only really show on TV events that Australians are taking part in. Is It like that back home with the British athletes? When I lived back home, I never remembered that happening. It has really put me off the Olympics.
  24. Spot on, Bobby.
