  1. Not good, lost 6-1. Had no keeper

it's alright, some good lines in it. I'd say it's definitely worth a watch.

Obviously depends what bits you saw but I found Scum a good film but quite harrowing.
  4. Thomson, the Utd chairman, was apparently on the news last night moaning that "only" 1200 Dons fans turned up on Monday night... seriously.
  5. The one he was booked for. It should have been red.
  6. UEFA, surely? I do agree that Arsenal were robbed though.
  7. aye, very harsh sending off. There was 1 second between the whistle going and RVP hitting the shot and he booked him for it.
  8. He should have saved it. Simple as that.
  9. It moved slightly, no where near as much as Commons'. McNamee was poor at the goal too, but he shouldn't be getting beat from a shot from that distance that was at the perfect height for him to take.
  10. He was weak as fuck at the goal. Didn't get his body behind it and a laughable attempt to catch it pushed the ball into the corner of the net.
  11. I think it's all ticket, tsr. In/Oot : In Travel: Subway to city centre Pre-match: Train, then straight to game Game: where ever my ticket is for Post-match: out for a couple of pints then home Prediction: 0-0, think this could be a painful, jittery game
  12. Of course he's saved us on a number of occasions. He's a professional goalkeeper, he will have the basic ability to make saves as every professional goalkeeper has. The issue is that these fuck ups happen way too often and these are just the obvious flaps. He gets beaten at his near post far too often, he doesn't shift his feet quickly enough and he has absolutely no command of his area as was shown to horrifying consequences in the most recent cup semi final (one of two semis he's played for us, bottled it in both). The fact other players are making mistakes is irrelevant to this issue. He isn't doing his job properly, so he should go. Other players at our club or players at other clubs don't come into it. It was a horrendous mistake last night and it is nowhere near a one off. His jitters spread right through the back line last night and we can't take that into a big cup game at the weekend but I fear that is exactly what we'll do.
  13. First part of the game he was taking pass backs a lot, getting good distance on his kicks. Let's that shot in and fuck me.... nothing goes back to him after that. Even his team mates know he's a bottler and that in itself puts us under pressure. He's not good enough, the drop in the second half was never threatening just utterly embarrassing. He should have been binned years ago. I was going to say he's a good shot stopper, but he's clearly not. How he has lasted at our club is a fucking mystery.
  14. Young in for Blackman. ESPN saying it's going to be Jack, Vernon and Aluko up front... not convinced about that at all.
  15. Daly, Kenneth, Severin and Dods are all out for United supposedly. That's a fair amount of their height/muscle gone. Would it be worth playing Magennis from the start instead of Blackman? Try to ruffle them up a bit?
  16. Think that's harsh on Smalling, Tyrant. Young player and was man of teh match v City, he's looked very impressive when next to Vidic. Brown used to be good but I think his injuries have taken their toll. Agree on the rest though.
  17. Thought Suarez was superb, ally. Really impressed with his link up play and he has a lot of skill, certainly more than just a poacher as some of the media had claimed. Surprised it was Carrick in midfield and not Fletcher. Carrick is nowhere near the standard required, where he once used to dictate play he is now reduced to looking for the square pass which too often finds the opposition. The thing I found worrying for United was who it was left to carry the can when the tackles started flying in... Rafael and Scholes. Where was Brown, Rooney, Carrick? Liverpool essentially bullied them, and fair play for it, but that would never have happened in a team with Bryan Robson or Roy Keane. Vidic was a huge miss in that respect as well as every other respect, but more players have to stand up and be counted.
  18. aye, fuck all was wrong, he was just taken off on a stretcher. Jesus wept.
  19. Aye, god forbid you ever get your leg punctured by studs. It's fucking horrendous. It's nothing to laugh at.
  20. this is obviously tilted towards today's United - 'Pool game but quite interesting none the less... also interesting that it describes Ray Kennedy's assault on John McMaster as a tackle.....
  21. It shouldn't. He was so high it was nearly unbelievable. He tried to do him. Nani is as soft as shite and his whining is grating, but he looked genuinely distressed today. I've had my leg punctured by studs before and it looks horrendous, my guess is that this happened to him. Carragher will be gutted, he clearly wanted to break his leg.
  22. I've got some respect for Ifil. Supposedly Brown pulled him into his office at Pittodrie and said - more or less - you're not good enough for us and we need to let you go. When Ifil got his gig at BR, he text Craig Brown and said thank you for his honesty and the respect he showed him and also for the advice he'd given him for his future. Shows Craig Brown in a great light but fair fucks to Ifil, I think many pro footballers these days would never even think of of showing that sort of appreciation to someone who's just released them from a contract. He was still shite though, right enough.
  23. Fucking horrible player. Always has been. How him and Gerrard even attempted to defend that is beyond me. You know it's a horrendous tackle when even Souness says it's appalling.
  24. Red Stars went down 2-1 yesterday morning. We had a poor first half by our standards but still created some good chances. The second half was all us and we pinned them back in their own box but just couldn't get the equaliser. We played some great football again and deserved at least a point, possibly more. I'm sad to report that their tactics of moaning about every 50-50, threatening to break our players legs and then to top it off one of their lot stuck a digit up the arse of our centre forward while waiting for a corner kick ruined what was otherwise a very good game of football. Next up for Red Stars is a game againt Beechwood Albion on Thursday night in Stirling. Thanks to BigAl for coming down to lend his support yesterday, was nice to meet you Al, you're a gent. Where were the rest of you though, eh??
