  1. Albert Kidd's second goal that day is an absolute cracker Sandy Jardine and Sandy Clark basically admitting they knew they were beaten before the match with us because we were just superior. Don't ever forget it fucknuts!!!
  2. about to come on STV now, 85-86 season - The Dons lift two trophies, Hearts had similar dreams but they never came to anything for a change.... didn't even win the Tennent's Sixes...
  3. as above Kow
  4. Read what was written. I didn't say that our management team have ever done that nor did i say I wanted them to. The part where i said "on the pitch" was to do with Aberdeen-Rangers games of old, and if you think they've never been like that then you haven't seen many of those matches in the last 30 years. But don't let that stop you from getting the totally wrong end of the stick. Sad.
  5. My thoughts exactly. Had it been Archie Knox squaring up to Lennon or McCoist we'd not be saying all this. They are rivals, whatever underpins that isn't the point. They had a go at each on the pitch, it was exactly the way Aberdeen-Rangers games were years ago before the game was sanitised beyond all recognition and to be honest I wish those games would go back to that. Who knows, we might actually get back to having some semblance of an atmosphere at matches as well.
  6. he should have been suspended, but arguments like that are for the primary school playground. Especially as you say all teams get breaks, United got one with that but you're moaning about it. You're right, these things do happen and will happen again to United and will happen to their opponents on occasion too. However, next time United do get a break, possibly on Sunday, I look forward to again reading your reasoned take on it. Oh, and there is nothing more comical than a fan of Self Pity City FC going on about other teams fans "greeting".
  7. Amazingly enough, Jim White of all people is speaking sense about the farce of the OF game and the disciplinary issues. Lennon and McCoist almost boxing again at full time when they shake hands. Get a room lads, seriously.
  8. do we have any regrets over him not signing for us again? I certainly don't, maybe you do, but all those things you list bar the last one are nothing to do with Aberdeen which is all it comes to down to for myself. If Diamond goes on to do well with Hearts, fair play to him, but whether he's at Hearts or some side down south, I'm not particularly bothered. I want him away from my football club because his attitude is shite and he's a bombscare. He will actually weaken Hearts' defence, i'd say that's a good thing for us.
  9. Did Mulgrew really haunt us? He scored a goal in a 4-1 rout. It's Zander Diamond and Charlie Mulgrew... not Charlie Nicholas and David Robertson.
  10. I want him up here so we do play against him, he's fucking garbage. I used to like him, but his attitude and performances over the last two years have ruined any goodwill I had towards him. I actually think he could have been a really good defender, but he's another who thinks he knows it all and believes he doesn't have to listen to those who know better. Hearts are welcome to him.
  11. Big time. Luiz should have gone, but still at least the Sky pundits seemed to find it funny...
  12. To score at anytime? are you sure? he's 7/1 to score first with Hills.
  13. 3, mostly... I desperately need a new driver too, the one i have just now is too whippy for how fast my swing is and as a result I hit it right half the time. Trying to correct that has taken about 20-30 yards off my drives. So if anyone can recommend a good, affordable driver with a stiff shaft (oo-er) I would appreciate it. what kind did you get CtS?
  14. Never been a big fan of Donald, always suspected him of being a bit weak but he has played some excellent stuff in the last year and was arguably the best player at the Ryder Cup.
  15. Is that not part of Hartley's job?
  16. Confirmed as a 10.30am k.o. Playing against a Troon Internet FC... not sure if a Troon internet is any different to everyone else's internet... They're not affiliated to any club, think they're the only ones in the league who aren't connected to a senior side.
  17. Will do Al. Would be good if you could make it, we could really be doing with some cheerleaders...
  18. We're playing at Troon Jnrs ground Al, k.o time still to be confirmed but we think it's going to be 10.30am.
  19. I've already had the dreaded vote of confidence from the board...
  20. 2-1 Brummies...
  21. First league match for ages was this afternoon in Glasgow's East End against a Dunfermline Athletic supporters side and I'm pleased to say we thumped them 4-0 and it would have been more if it wasn't for some baffling referreeing. :penalty: :penalty: The lads played brilliantly from start to finish and we'll look to take that form into our next match which is this Saturday coming down at Troon. Come on ye REDS!!!! :ultras:
  22. Milsom pips McArdle for my vote.
  23. Certainly would. Been quite a good game so far, nicely poised at 1-1
  24. I'd be delighted if Diamond leaves but I'm not sure Vuja is the answer I have to say.
  25. Yeah.... Padre is still right................
