If you look at the replay from behind the goal, as soon as it leaves his boot Arshavin is smiling, always like it when players are celebrating before it even goes in. I thought it was a good game, but i wouldn't go as far as great, it certainly wasn't as good as the game last season between the two at the Emirates. There were times when players had far too long on the ball (Xavi ran 40 yards unchallenged through the centre of midfield at one point) which I can't imagine will happen when either of them play any of the other big teams left in the CL. All very pleasing on the eye, but if it was my team, I'd want someone going in and nailing him.

The last series was about our first Premier League title and United's amazing season which included them winning the league cup against us at Dens and ... eh... yeah, that was about it. and in fairness to the Jute wankers, the season we won the ECWC they did win the league so it's only right they get a mention. Of course, we should also mention that they only won it because we had our minds elsewhere on more pressing matters and it was their last trophy for more than a decade...

Hi folks, As some of you know, I'm involved in an Aberdeen Supporters Team (Red Stars) in Glasgow and we are currently trying to recruit new players for immediate involvement in the team. We play in a Supporters League and actually still have the majority of our fixtures to play. Players of all positions are required and welcome. We hold a training session once a week at Victoria Park (near Scotstoun) on Sunday mornings if we have no game at the weekend. Some matches will be midweek and some at weekends but we try not to clash with Dons games of course. Think I've probably said this before but I do have to wonder if it would be best for both parties if Moyes walked away from Everton this summer. 3 points off relegation and they look utterly listless, no hope of a goal really without Saha. He's done an amazing job there, don't get me wrong, but I thought they looked stale a year or so ago and he doesn't seem to be able to do much to change that with the financial restraints there. He doesn't owe them anything, and I reckon it'd be best for his career if he went somewhere where the chairman will give him the funds he deserves. Fucking scary eyes though.
