  1. big time. the standards we accept these days are monumentally depressing. Sitting at Ibrox on Saturday I just thought "what the fuck is the point anymore?" There just seems an acceptance of how poor we are, there's a lack of fight/defiance in the support as well as the team. I appreciate it's a vicious circle but it never used to be like this and it's sad. Really, really sad.
  2. I can't. But then what's stopping Duncan Fraser doing it?
  3. When Dave Cormack was at the club, he would come down to our supporters club in Stirling along with Ebbe, Gardner Spiers and Hugh Little to speak to us and take a Q&A session and he was genuinely interested in taking opinions and suggestions from fans (I think Jager and Reekie and Alfrom may also have been at one or two of these). It might not seem much, and some people may say "nothing will come of it" but they were at least reaching out to the fans at that point. The relationship between club and fans is broken, if the club made gestures such as the above I think it would go some way to fixing things. We got a lot out of those nights, it made us understand why some decisions were made which we had been unhappy about gave us a bigger understanding of how the club as a whole worked. There are so many things the fans are unhappy about, and so many things we won't even know anything about, if the club could let us in on some of this then it's a step in the right direction.
  4. I think Larry White is slowly turning them round. Having a coach the players respect may just work for them... shame they didn't think of that 4 years ago!
  5. Won't disagree with that, but that's my point. Nonsense. I thought he was chronic at Fir Park.
  6. Booth talked a lot of sense. There is a fundamental problem with the mentality of our players and has been for years. Anyone who's watched us for any period could see that.
  7. Because of one good game? He'll still be offered a good wage I'd imagine, if he doesn't want to sign it, tough shit. He's not Theo Snelders.
  8. Not for the first time, you took that comment far too literally.
  9. yeah and conceded two comical goals against Hibs. It's only the full time score you go on Stoney, no matter how tenuous your point is.
  10. Oh right. I didn't realise that would mean we all of a sudden wouldn't be competitive. My mistake. again, my mistake, you are of course right. I mean, why should we moan about a 9-0 reverse when we've won one game 4-0?
  11. i could understand your point if we were at the arse end of the season, but we're 11/12 games in and it's not big enough to cope with that. In fact, replace "big" with "good" Sound familiar?
  12. Young will stay if he's offered anything as Stewart said. Diamond can fuck off, as can Ifil. I can understand where folk are coming from about Langfield but I've never been a big fan and to be honest, if there isn't a better goalkeeper than him for that money in the whole of Europe (or beyond) then there is a goalkeeper crisis stretching much further than Scotland it would seem. There has been an air of bad attitude and unprofessionalism within the team for years now. Diamond and Langfield and Aluko are pretty much the ones still there from when it seemed to start (after Anderson left, in my opinion), and for that reason I wouldn't be sorry to see any of them go. (I may be way off the mark with that, but for someone outside looking in it's a process of elimination)
  13. ...Langfield, Aluko and Diamond all offered reduced terms on their new contracts. Can't say I'm surprised and can't say any of them deserve anything else. I fully expect all three to leave in January.
  14. I'd also ask them who would they keep out of the soon to be out of contract players.
  15. His concentration looked a lot better I thought, looked as though he was "in the zone". In saying that, Kenny Miller took him to the cleaners in the second half, Langfield saved him that time though.
  16. aye, but in fairness to him other than the obvious (which i know is the point) his general play and reading of the game was alright, better than the lump beside him at any rate.
  17. 4. If you were a paying punter, would you honestly pay more than 20 quid for that?
  18. Ifil was the least of our problems on Saturday.
  19. A concession that people haven't been giving their all. Fantastic. Didn't look that hard for teams to beat us in those two games Jamie.
  20. I'd suggest Harrison should also be investigated. First of all for match fixing, and secondly for claiming he's a boxer.
  21. Thing is BB, they could open up and play like that and Chelsea could take a lot off them. As much as Sunderland were superb, there was a real want about Chelsea today. Something a bit Pete Tong off the pitch perhaps or just missing important players? Aye, he's looked a lot better this season. He is a truly great keeper on his day. Well, this is it, what the fuck went on on Wed night for Wilkins to get the dunt? Ancellotti said it wasn't his decision but he "backed the club's decision" in sacking him. There have been murmurs that he's shagged someone he shouldn't have. Doesn't narrow it down much though...
  22. Yeah they were superb, as i said in my edit above, it shows what can be done when you attack. Best form of defence and all that. The first goal was tremendous.
  23. London huns 0 Black Cats 3 EDIT: It really does show what you can achieve when you go to these places and attack and play two up front. Sunderland were well worth their victory and Cech saved it from being more.
  24. The cunt was also in goals for our last victory at the hellhole. I will never tire of watching Granty putting him on his arse and then dinking the ball over him, the hun cunt.
