  1. They drew 0-0, Sevilla won and Sociedad lost. The only reason I picked Sociedad was because the Racing Post tipped them. Every time this season I've gone with one of their tips it's lost, and in some cases lost badly. That'll be the last time (my bet would have lost anyway, I appreciate). We all get it wrong frequently, but these guys do it for a living!
  2. Last minute goal for Freiburg for a 1-0 win. Got Sociedad, Mallorca and Sevilla on for the 4pm games.
  3. Nice one gd, someone will get their arse felt for that no doubt. Wee outside bet for today, Freiburg away to Hoffenheim @ 9/2.
  4. I heard one guy scream "Come on ye Reds", there may well have been others but it was rather obvious Dandies were disgusted with him. Sad stuff. I saw Stoney too. He neither had a fishing rod nor was he watching highland league football. He also wasn't gambling.
  5. He could have done better at the first, him, miller and the cross were right on our eyeline and he was caught extremely flat footed. If he was on his toes he wouldn't even have had to dive for it. He played well other than that though. I hate to piss on the parade here but we looked good in the second because the huns couldn't give a fuck. They let us play, let us knock the ball around, the second half was a total non event because of it. Had they wanted to it would have been more. We knocked it around and created fuck all. That's extremely worrying for me.
  6. Exactly Al, this cretin wouldn't still be talking about us, 20 years on if they didn't.
  7. EDIT: Should say this is from Andy Goram.
  8. Peep Show returns on Ch4, 26th November
  9. The lengths you go to really are monumentally pathetic.
  10. Who said it's a crime? I'd just like him to start responding about aberdeen rather than about himself. Maybe he wouldn't have to face the crap if he put a winning team on the park. Even a competitive one would do on occasion.
  11. On the hat, numbnuts. A thread which you posted in.
  12. Even though the topic heading on the hat states his name? Poor, poor effort stoney.
  13. Standing up for Aberdeen would be one thing, but recently it's just come across as standing up for Mark McGhee.
  14. Nice bit of propaganda from Chris there. However, what do we do if we continue to lose? A defeat tomorrow is likely, who is to say St Johnstone won't do as ICT and Killie have done at Pittodrie already this season... are we just to continue beating the drum and the chest in defiance against the nasty West Coast Media who have made all of this up? they have made all of this up, haven't they...? We'll get behind the team because they are our team and I don't think that has ever been an issue but let's not pretend people do not have a breaking point over this. You can not expect people to see this as a fresh start, a defeat tomorrow is still the fourth on the spin. "The Red Army has a fine tradition of rallying together in adversity and now the siren sounds to convene once more. This is, officially, McGhee's Aberdeen. If you are not with us, you are against us." This will be used by those who are excruciatingly "pro-McGhee" whenever anyone dares question him. I'm "pro-McGhee" because he is the manager of Aberdeen FC, but we can't just go blindly on quoting that mantra if things do not improve. I'll be at the game tomorrow and McGhee and the team will get my full backing, as always. But something - anything, any glimmer of hope - does have to be given in return if my optimism is to increase. I don't need people telling me how I should support my team.
  15. Thought you didn't read Crighton's stuff, Stoney?
  16. I sent them 2 emails years ago, I got one response from Chris Gavin and another from a general employee at the club. Not surprisingly I got the politician-type answer on both occasions.
  17. one you sent the club? post it up if you don't mind manc, would be interested to read it.
  18. McGhee, Fraser and Miller I'd suggest. I'll put it a different way then, what do you think needs changing?
  19. I would say his dealings in the transfer market have been pretty good, which makes his failure to get them to play as a team even more frustrating.
  20. That would be lovely. What are we supposed to do between now and the transfer window though?
  21. well, what do you think is going to change?
  22. this is to do with something which happened last night according to a couple of journalists twitter accounts. Also, it's apparently been rumoured for a while that Ancellotti doesn't rate Wilkins but him leaving is likely to upset a few of the senior Londonhuns players as they don't like Ancellotti's management style.
  23. I had heard that Milne wanted him out and Miller and Fraser voted to keep him. Self preservation from Miller, and it's no wonder the money man didn't want him to go. Pissed off but not surprised. What is it in the past 16 months is it that they have seen that makes them think the next 6 months will be any different? And these magical plans that are in place, why weren't they in place from the start and why is it only with the threat of the sack are they now being put into action?
