  1. They're going to keep him on, no doubt in my mind about it.
  2. I think neil cooper and simmie may be asked to step in for it if MM does go.
  3. Agree on all points there Al. Never like to see it coming down to a personal level... unless that person is Alex Miller in which case, shootie in...
  4. Everyone was very respectful yesterday which made it worse. Was drinking with my mate who's a Tim last night and it wasn't even mentioned. My brother even apologised about it. Fucking hellish. It's going to be very real this morning as I'm taking football training for 15 other Dons fans....
  5. Strachan's one of the last guy's I'd want taking it.
  6. Well, at least he's giving us somethng to look forward to. I always strive just to see us doing ok. that'll be just sweet... :hammer: :hammer:
  7. Why would you have? he doesn't care.. have you not been listening to him the last 2 weeks he's been saying he doesn't care about AFC on an AFC forum?
  8. The big difference being that 95 with that team and - at that point unaffected - support, we were never going down. It's easy to say now, but it's true. That squad finally woke up - nothing to do with managers, nothing to do with the fans really - the players just started playing to the level they should have. The situation now is that the fans are deeply affected, and the squad is quite possibly playing to it's level. I absolutely admire your steadfastness, but this is going to be nothin like 95 unfortunately... we've trundled on far too long for it to be so and we've lost too many passengers on the way.
  9. The thread was set up for this Dave, it was inevitable, have a go at the OP
  10. Jimmy felt he was too big for us when we beat the tims 4-2, he wanted to go, so what's the problem? Should we not have sacked Roy Aitken because Alex MIller was a disaster? (JC was a better manager than Aitken but I'm sure you take my point, it's two seperate decisions).
  11. Guys, don't start this pish. Every Dons fan is hurting tonight and saying "I told you so" doesn't make it any better for any of us, and if it does for any of you then you need a word with yourselves.
  12. I know, but I thought he was actually gone the way you phrased it, as in "officially left the building".
  13. Richard Gordon giving him pelters on the radio. According to MM, it's just 3 points we've lost, nothing to do with losing face, confidence, not to mention what it means to all the supporters. He's detached from reality, it's self preservation maybe, but detached none the less.
  14. He's on radio now saying "why shouldn't i be the one to lead the team on Tuesday?"
  15. an og doesn't count as an attempt at goal
  16. Dundee went downhill when he left. Either way, he'd be the steady hand we need and is a good coach. I've got absolutely no idea if his training methods or man management have moved with the times or otherwise to be honest.
  17. Not having a good time this season last I checked. Jocky Scott for me with maybe a young manager working with him and learning from him. Who that'd be I do not know.
  18. Should do what his wee mate did at Boro and tear up his contract, no severance, just do the decent thing and walk away.
  19. Hope all is ok mate. I'm doing very little this weekend other than visiting the folks and football training, and hoping and praying to something that the Dons don't get cemented tomorrow
  20. I hate to disappoint mate. You coming down for the huns next week?
  21. The only thing I had a problem with was the amount of cash going to Tannadice. Was fucking delighted to see the back of the jug eared hun twat.
  22. Please just stop.
  23. just a plain old normal right back would suffice.
  24. and yet you gave it up... shame...
