  1. Would rather Dundee or Partick Thistle were up than ICT.
  2. Aye, good to have you back Tyrant...
  3. Feel a bit strange about this... Inter v Bayern could be a cracking game, quite close to call I'd imagine and it's something completely different to the last x number of finals. On the other hand, I had thought Barca would get to the final and ultimately win it. It would be a bit of history from an exceptional side and had they done so they'd have gone down as one of the finest club sides ever. It would be good to witness that, the potential would have been there to win 3 in a row a la Ajax and Bayern in the 70s in what is arguably a much harder tournament to win these days.
  4. 1-0, Pique, lovely turn and finish
  5. It's quite alright mate, I don't hold you responsible.
  6. Seconded. All that pish about the derby game etc... what a lot of shite.
  7. as that twat Tyldsely says, it's a bad day for henry when Jefren and Bojan get on ahead of him. Can't say I'm too bothered, Henry is an absolute bellend.
  8. that'd a harsh red I reckon.
  9. Don't shoot the messenger. It was on the Guardian podcast last week.
  10. I heard something the other day about Eto'o trying to take Barca to court over unpaid money. He was told he couldn't as he is effectively on loan to Inter! Makes it all the more strange I'd say.
  11. I think Inter will score tonight.
  12. Because he's worth it? Apparently not.
  13. agree with that. I honestly think the guy is a good/ok player, but as with any other player who has sampled the lower English leagues knows he can get better money. He sure as fuck isn't worth it, but if he can get it, we're a bit fucked aren't we?
  14. Good to see you're finally catching up with new millenium fashion in Aberdeen.
  15. But better, none the less.
  16. I almost didn't celebrate it as football was most definitely the loser. Said it all about the guy, atrocious footballer.
  17. yeah, been in it for years. Not won anything in ages. Most i've ever won is an ayrton.
  18. very true! I should have thought of that, really.
  19. Of course, any goal for our team can never be a "bad goal" per se, but what about the goals which have been the least aesthetic? I've probably forgotten more than I can remember for obvious reasons, but one in particular I'll always remember for just the sheer lack of composure and skill: one of Bryan Prunty's few goals for us was against Killie at Rugby park. Ball across the goal line, Prunty 0.75 yards out I reckon... took his first touch which took the ball further away from goal... second which brought it back to it's starting point, third was a shot which hit his standing leg and caused him to fall, and his fourth was from a lying down position trickled over the line with absolutely no danger of rippling the gaping net. He celebrated as if he was Zinedine Zidane at Hampden in 2002... A small part of the "Beautiful Game" died in that moment. Anyone remember any other particularly ugly goals or stramashes for their sheer hideousness?
  20. could build a monorail...
  21. That was turned off at half time in my house! fucking brutal.
  22. I know you have.
  23. I think you've taken that too far.
  24. thought MacLean was one of the better performers to be honest.
  25. surely a new bus service would be put on? Don't think you'd have to worry about that to be fair.
