  1. Liked the look of Stewart when he came on. Looked comfortable on the ball and wants to take responsibility. Looking forward to seeing more of him. Two good goals. We'll score over there, some of McInnes' best work has been done on tricky European away fixtures, could see us getting the required result next week.
  2. Scotland, probably.
  3. I didn't miss your point. My point wasn't that just because you have skill you're a fairy. My point is that based on what I've seen of GMS, he is a fairy, who happens to have skill but we don't see it enough.
  4. He at least put himself in a position of getting hit and generally rode it (i.e. dived). Hope the boy does well, no need to crap yourself about it.
  5. I'm a bit "meh" about this signing but hoping he proves me wrong. I've always thought he was a fairy who had skill, but it didn't come out enough, mainly due to him being a fairy. It does mean we're even more top heavy now so you'd expect at least one to leave, possibly two if Moult comes in. Storey and ....?
  6. Violator is an absolutely superb album. I like their new album, not listened to it a great deal though, need to give it another spin this weekend.
  7. Nice one, that'll be ace. Got Public Service Broadcasting in October, not got the new album yet but hearing mixed reviews of it unfortunately.
  8. McKimmie far superior to Logan, as good a player as Shay is. Good news that he's signed, he's an important player for us.
  9. We supposedly had a Croatian centre back turn out for us today. It wasn't Slaven Bilic, unfortunately.
  10. The boy Williamson at Newcastle is piss poor.
  11. Defender supposedly
  12. Josh Parker.
  13. Virtual keyboards, eh? What will they think of next?!?!
  14. None of that helped them this time round when they desperately needed it, and a sugar daddy could have got the whole lot for a hugely knockdown price. You're probably right in the long run, I just don't think it's a given and they'll have many more financial hurdles to overcome to get there.
  15. That game will be moved to the Sunday I believe, if we get through our first European qualifier.
  16. I don't see how they can reclaim their lost ground on Celtic. The last time they were competing with them they had cheated to do so. Celtic, in the intervening time have strengthened. If the huns were to get to that level again, it will likely end in the same way; liquidation, or at best, an administration event. Their revenue streams are low as it is, comparatively, they're out of Europe at the first hurdle which is a disaster financially for them, they have spunked millions on players who are, by all accounts, absolutely root. To fix all that, will take time and more millions. They can't ignore the crumbling stadium forever. They have little or no credit facility. So, I just don't see how they get back to that level.
  17. It is verging on criminal, I'd say. Back on topic... I suppose I'd have to go for Copenhagen.
  18. The thing is SeeBass, European football is rigged so that teams like us never progress in it. It's a competition we now have no chance of winning, or even progressing in beyond Christmas. We have an infinitely better chance of winning the SPFL, which is saying something in itself. I can't get myself excited about European football these days. While I always want the Dons to win, I can't help but think we may be better off out of it.
  19. I think SeeBass may be referring to the 2008 version of Bayern at Pittodrie, Al.
  20. Saw Taylor saying he was fed up finishing second to Celtic and this was one reason he left. Even when he's not our player he fucking annoys me. Signed for United did he not?
  21. It may depend how much they take from the BDO pot, if they get a sizeable amount from that they may not pursue the individuals, a number of whom are now likely not to be in the country... (big Eck on his way to Switzerland as we speak, no doubt..) It does mean that the "ordinary" creditors will receive even less of a settlement, which they've been waiting years for too. Some of them may have even gone out of business themselves as a result. Really is pretty shit for them.
  22. Huns have lost the tax case. They officially cheated. Will officialdom do the right thing and strip the titles? Of course not, carpets are already being lifted....
  23. Just a bump up for this. We have our first set of trials this Thursday night. We had a great surge in interest after the EE and AFC posted articles on their websites about us. Big thanks also to Manc and the team here who have tweeted about this and put us on their FB page, it's all really appreciated. We'll have a further trials session next week hopefully followed by a bounce game on the Saturday.
  24. Maloney put off having a hernia op at the end of the season, so I would assume he's still to have that. If that's the cause of this, I find it strange we're so far down the line before this became an issue. Good luck to Niall, an interesting move for him and I hope it works out for him. He's been a cracking player for us.
