  1. That was an absolute cracker of a goal from Jofis. Something similar today from any of our lot will suffice. I'm nervous about this one, want it done and dusted today. Obviously a replay will be better than getting put out on our arses but with our home form the way it is...
  2. Unfortunately manc, I'm bordering on the same conclusion. I suggest you read the beano then.
  3. I honestly reckon the only way the supporters could ever gauge whether Willie is doing the job is if JC and MM honestly commented on it. If WM made JC's job easier and if he does make MM's job easier while the youth set up is contiually improving then I think we have to go with it, no? If they say his job is worthwhile, then who are we to argue? Otherwise, how can any of us say honestly?
  4. +1 Unfortunately COYR
  5. Same could be asked vice versa. Who gives a fuck? It's different shades of shite. You're arguing about one set of papers who won't give us the time of day, and another who is the local paper but can't wait to put us in the shit! I'll live without both, thanks.
  6. The way they're reporting it on RedWeb both will be playing. The rule is maybe if it goes to a replay, players signed between the first game and the replay can't play. Or maybe i'm just talking shite altogether.
  7. I was under the impression that MacLean and Patterson would be ineligible for this game as they weren't signed when the draw was made, or is that ruling only in play in England?
  8. I'm in work as well, caused a bit of a scene.
  9. Both.
  10. No, it wasn't. (I had a feeling you would reply to that...)
  11. Indeed. Part of me died that day.
  12. The hat has now made the AFC Section a "Protected Forum" it seems. Obviously London Scottish wants to keep the propaganda in house...
  13. In fairness Harcus, I probably didn't bother my arse to look at the odds on the Dons in those days... just the "Celtic -4 goals" column.
  14. Was watching American Dad there... and I have to say that Stan Smith reminds me slightly of our very own Rocket. Which is nice.
  15. Portsmouth are 22/1 away to Man Utd on Saturday. I think that may be the longest odds I've ever seen for a team playing a normal league match.
  16. Absolutely agree with your first sentence. However, who should apologise for what? And whose head should roll? Milne is the guiltiest of the guilty, he's not going to sack himself and without his guarantee at the bank etc etc. I don't know if you're saying this as "ideal scenario" and you may know there is little chance of this ever happening, but if they apologise for one thing, where do they stop with the apologies? They could be there all fucking day.
  17. I know...imagine. You positively love it on the other hand. Or is that another inference that will be denied?
  18. I think anyone striving for an "internet persona" wants to have a word with themselves.

  20. Absolutely, but it's been the case for 30 years of trying to get them onside with big money, it's not going to happen now I'd imagine.
  21. It was more a rhetorical question really. I know they need to use it but it's the same every year with huge numbers of tickets going unsold and i just don't think it does our game any favours on the whole.
  22. why do they hold these semi finals at Hampden?
  23. Is it only oil companies that are investing at Pittodrie? His remit is the football side, but he is essentially the figurehead of our club. If people have had issues with him in business - entirely plausible as his recent venture has gone bust and therefore there are likely to be other businesses effected by the cash flow problems Miller's business undoubtedly had - then I think it would be rather naive not to think this could have a negative effect on the club.
