  1. I have just seen it now and that was a fantastic goal. he did look genuinely surprised it had gone in right enough!
  2. I'm a frayed knot. I've got the game on tape/dvd, Grant was at right back and McKimmie at left back even though their numbers suggested otherwise (4 and 2 respectively, but then they wore those numbers for most of their careers.) Glass played in front of McKimmie, and did the two of them not combine to set up the opening goal?

    first set to Murray!

breaks back straight away then holds his serve after going 0-40 down. Showing a bit of bottle...

Had his serve broken already, 1-2.
  6. Can't fully remember the semi final line up, but I do know Grant played midfield that night beside Bernard and Jess. Can't say I was impressed by said scarf twirling either.
  7. I don't think he did bb. McKimmie was at left back, Brian Grant at right back if I remember correctly. Glass, Bernard, Jess and Miller in midfield.
  8. Watched that too, was pleasantly surprised, I thought it may have been pretty painful viewing but it was not bad. Also watched a programme on FX about Neo-Nazis in the U.S. Was pretty interesting, showed a couple of riots between Neo-Nazis and Anti-Racist groups and police. Always seemed to be only the Anti-Racists who would be arrested though due to free speech laws in the U.S. Not surprisingly, there were some amount of utter cunts and brain dead mentalists on it, as is par for the course with these progs.
  9. the ref needs to start booking people for diving though. There's been about 5 cases in the last 3 minutes alone.
  10. 1-0 Inter through Milito, but Sneijder's just been given a straight red for dissent! Some right tasty tackles flying in too.
  11. left well alone yesterday. Had two lines, small stakes on today: Osasuna, Santander, Leverkusen and Valencia. Valencia drew 0-0. Line for the evening matches: AC Milan, Monaco and Real Madrid-2.
  12. thought it was likely to be MacKay cos he was fairly flying into tackles and had already been booked.
  13. missed that, turned it over to Hoffenheim-Leverkusen. Who got sent off? Mackay by any chance?
  14. St Johnstone player (milne I think) went to play a one two I think and when he was running into the box for the return Loovens pulled him down. Clear cut penalty and well put away by Liam Craig.
  15. 1-0 St Johnstone v Celtic. penalty kick.
  16. Agree he was better at centre half but I think he dipped dramatically when McLeish left, all of a sudden became a bag of nerves.
  17. Exactly my thoughts on the matter. Find both "sides" equally nauseating as the other.
  18. Spot on bb. McKimmie and Robertson are streets ahead of everyone else on that poll. Robertson turned into a cunt, the worst thing is that after the league decider at ibrox he told his wife that he'd never sign for "them" as their fans were spitting on him when he was taking throw ins. Couple of weeks later he's signed for them. Also, that night at Ibrox where he turned up in our end, there was only one bigger cunt in the stadium that night and it was the Dons fan who grassed my mate into the cops. Cheers, fuckface.

well when you put it like that it's a shock he can even still breathe...

You don't have to do anything. I've got no idea, but i would honestly say that he didn't necessarily choke in them all. I think he did choke in the US Open Final, but you need to remember that when it gets to the top end of most sports, everyone can beat everyone else on their day, just that some have their day more than others. In the times Murray has beaten Nadal, for instance, I wouldn't necessarily say Nadal choked. Maybe you would though.

That implies that if you don't win a tournament you automatically choked. That's not the case at all. sometimes you're just beaten by a better player.
  22. Reekster - are you doing the rest of this or is our team just consisting of Theo?
  23. I'd be disappointed if he was boo'd. I don't think he should get a standing ovation either, but our support's apparent eagerness to boo anyone that has the audacity to leave us is bewildering at times. There are obviously times when it's richly deserved, but I remember a Dons fan I knew who said he'd boo John Hewitt if he played against us for Celtic. John Hewit!! Fucking hell.
  24. I enjoyed it, showed some footage I'd never seen before including a Miller rocket from 3 yards at Dens Park. Cosgrove was good, I've always thought he's had a wee liking for us. Had to laugh at Fergie shouting during training: "Dingus, you're allowed to score ye know!" Maybe that explains something about where we've been going wrong this season... Would also liked to have heard if Miller knocked the shit out of Best in the tunnel at Pittodrie. there is always a tinge of sadness watching these things, you inevitably think "if only we were like that now..." and it was probably summed up by McGhee saying that Aitken later told him that when the Celtic players looked at our lot in the tunnel we seemed so pumped up for it, it was almost as if our players were on drugs. compared to now where we have pea-hearted boys who think they're men, more worried about how their hair looks than if they're going to win the match and get stuck into the enemy from the first whistle. Have to say though, Bobby Clark didn't cover himself in glory with some of the clips that were shown
  25. Spent far too long on the Jute minkers.
