  1. strange that Duff siad he was a defender... thought he didn't like playing at the back?
  2. Home to the huns would do.
  3. 1-0 Londonhunwanks.
  4. 2-0. The double save by Reina from Cahill and Fellaini has probably won it for Liverpool to be honest, that seemed to knock the stuffing out of Everton a bit.
  5. It certainly does mini!! Funny thing is that Souness told McCoist to "fuck off and leave" once upon a time and he outlasted the manager... reckon the players may outlast their management team this time too.
  6. Red bin dippers beating blue bin dippers 1-0, Everton having two goals rightly chopped off and Bilayetedinov (sp?) missed a sitter.
  7. Amen to that brother. I have a real burning hatred for that cunt McCoist. A slimey, horrible, cheating cunt. Three years running in cup finals he cheated to get a goal for the huns against us. Smashing Theo's cheekbone into a hundred pieces was a pretty hideous thing to do but he was completely exonerated because of his chuminess with pricks like Chick Young. He was a sneaky, snidey player and knowing that result yesterday pisses him off is simply beautiful. Am I bitter? Too right.
  8. everyone played very well and Young deserves a lot of praise, he looked dead on his feet at the end. I'd give the MOTM to Pawlett though, he got a couple of hard tackles in on him but he kept going back for more, sign of a brave player and someone who knows he has the ability to deal with it.
  9. Well, he can keep doing it if today is the result. And if the huns were so fired up by his comments and that was the performance of a riled champions side, then I'll sleep easy I reckon...
  10. I am going to see the Bluetones but not as a favour to them.
  11. not sold out. http://www.seetickets.com/see/event.asp?e|artist=THE+CHARLATANS&n|artist=null&resultsperpage=20&filler1=see&filler2=art-srch&orderby=date
  12. I'm not sharing your optimism on that mini. I'm not, got too much on tomorrow (I'll be lucky to see the whole game tbh) and I've also still not dried out from Fir Park...
  13. Was saying to my mate earlier that I'd really like to see someone go through one of the hun bastards really early on - preferrably Thomson or McCulloch - just to let them know they're going to be in a game. Then we were trying to think of who could actually do this... there was no obvious candidate springing to mind. Quite depressing really. We're crying out for a Miller, McLeish, Rougvie, McKimmie, Simmie, Peter Nicholas, Grant, van de Ven, Richardson, Bisconti... not even in terms of their respective playing ability but just in terms of not being intimidated and not being frightened to stand up to the vermin. We miss that when Zander is out of the team and it's the thing that worries me most about tomorrow. Although we're struggling to score goals, goals can come out of absolutely nothing (no one expected the 4 v Celtic last season for example). But our current crop of players are physically lightweight and their collective heart is the size of a pea it would seem.
  14. Good spot! I think they're just wanting to play places they dont usually as next year is the 20th anniversary of Some Friendly, so I assume they'll be doing all the usual cities for that.
  15. McGhee's article in Sunday's Herald.
  16. I've got the Bluetones at King Tut's on Dec 16 which I'm slightly underwhelmed about I have to say. (going as a favour to someone) Then The Charlatans in Dunfermline on the 19th, which will be mega as usual, new stuff being played.
  17. Grimmer scored a good goal to put Scotland ahead. He's had a couple of nice touches and played a cracking through ball.
  18. I don't even understand what you just said never mind attempting to answer if it counts or "nae".
  19. It was part of McGhee's article in the Sunday Herald at the weekend. It may still be up on the Herald site.
  20. Exactly, he didn't kick his arse for the rest of the campaign. That would have involved far too much effort.
  21. Miller was playing like a clownshoes prick last season too, I'd suggest.
  22. Was going to say the same thing about Whittaker... he got absolutely ripped to shreds last night and is a clear weak (missing) link in their side. David Weir is also pretty woeful. McCullch and Thomson were fairly putting it about last night, hope someone sorts them out early on Saturday before they injure someone. Don't want Maguire in for this one, until he learns that playing for us is about Aberdeen FC and not about him trying to look like Maradona with a shite boyband haircut.
  23. too many dodgy games tonight in the CL, so just took Draw Ht/Fiorentina FT in their match with Lyon.
  24. I don't think Celtic will sack him. If only for the reason that they're tighter than a mermaid's bra, that lot. I also don't think they'd want to be seen to be going down the huns-PLG route as there are a lot of rumours going about Glasgow that a lot of his players do not want to play for him. I would imagine both Lawell and Reid are the types to give a manager time. Strachan was almost universally unpopular with the Cetlic support but they stood by him and then some. Mowbray has made comments that his side is shite, and it is. But he's not doing himself any favours when £4m of his budget was squandered on that clown Fortune. I quite like Mowbray, i don't think there's any bullshit about him but as with every support these days, Celtic's fans are not patient. I blame the internet, personally...
