Who would that be?
-
McInnes always spoke of leaving a legacy here. One League Cup isn't a legacy. His aim, by his very own comments, was to win a few trophies so there absolutely is a lot more he could achieve at Aberdeen. The fact he is jumping before he has achieved that and also jumping as soon as the first big rebuilding job required is very disappointing indeed.

Alex Neill, if we can't get him I'd go for Alan Archibald. Considering the budget at Thistle he's done really well and his team, on occasion, play some good stuff. I like Eric Black, and he does come across as an intelligent guy, but if he never played for the Dons would a guy with his track record be quoted?

Very good of you. You can support the team without being overcome in "slavering patriotic fervour", can you not? You can get to fuck with that shite. Personally, I would like to see Scotland do well but it puts me neither up nor down the way supporting Aberdeen does. As soon as a Scotland game has finished the TV is off and I move on. Several reasons for this - in a football context, the SFA has shown to be a corrupt organisation which leans towards helping certain sides in our country. Aberdeen have had a series of players over my lifetime who have been unjustifiably ignored by the SFA when it came to squad selections. Outwith the sporting aspect of it... you're just born here, no say in it and it is a fluke of nature, you're born on one side of an arbitrary line drawn by someone hundreds of years ago, more or less. That you should attach anything more to it than that is entirely up to yourself, but it's not for me. As I said, I want them to win, but that's all it is. The rabid nationalists freak me out a bit but what they do is their business and if they're happy with how they are then good on them. But I'm certainly not accepting being called a hun by anyone.

What's wrong with not doing that?

What game were you watching? We were all over them in the first 10 minutes then we dropped off them and it was a stroll for England in terms of possession, even though they didn't do much with it. Scotland had nothing and Griffiths was isolated due to how deep his team mates were. That was the story in the second half and the only surprise was how long it took England to get the first. As for Scotland being a very good team now... I don't see that at all. They certainly can't rely on free kicks to save them each time and other than that they created little. 85 minutes of that game were absolutely brutal, an amazing finish but that was mostly a fucking grim game of football, as most internationals are these days.

Inflate the Tories seats - no one ever admits to voting for those cunts. Cameron was a slimeball. Both of them are right of the right; horrible bastards. Cameron was just better media-trained, same horrible ideals behind it.

Copies of all contracts should be with the league/association, so if Celtic were in doubt about the figure they should be able to get confirmation from them. Side letters should be lodged too, but some clubs have chosen not to do this in the past.....

Dirthy Filthy Hun Scumbag Vermin (deceased) and Poundland tribute act
BobbyBiscuit replied to mizer's topic in Football Chat
It's not. It's a cracking city to live in. Has it's bad areas, like any other reasonably sized city, but it's a good place to live. Your obsession with it and it's inhabitants is a bit weird to be honest. -
Jack did his best not to tackle that prick never mind jab him. Not a chance he'd have the backbone to do something like that.
-
Must have been, they're ace live.
-
You thought they were shite live?
-
It's an album that has to be listened to as such rather than dipping in and out of it for a track or two, I think. Some crackers on there but also some pretty tame tracks.

Has anyone wondered why he's leaving? Is anyone not aware of the fact he'll get more money? Good luck to him? Get fucked. He's playing for our most hated rival, jumping ship from the club who gave him the chance in the game, who coached him from a kid through to captaining the club, and with that he still couldn't be honest with the club and the fans. Even given your usual contrary position you've gone too far here. People understand he's getting more money, that doesn't mean we have to like his choice of club or respect the decision. He has shown our club fuck all respect but you want to take some sort of misplaced moral high ground on this? As I said, get fucked.

Jack's agent had approached Warburton when he was at the huns but Warburton wasn't interested. He then approached Caixinha when he took over and he was interested. The little rat has been trying to engineer a move there for months but was telling McInnes it wasn't the huns he was going to.

Really don't want GMS, heart the size of a pea. He's an absolute fairy.

I'd be hugely disappointed in DM if he jumped as soon as the first major re-building job came around; don't think that looks too great for him.

P&J now reporting Celtic will take Hayes in return for Christie and cash.

Tony Adams and some bizarre comments about Wenger: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/may/29/tony-adams-arsenal-arsene-wenger-board

Hayes to Celtic for £1m. Christie to us for £500k with huge sell on clause for Celtic. We're still in talks with Maloney. All being reported by Michael Grant.

Admin looks a certainty. Big problems there, mostly caused by Thompson Jnr apparently.

Scottish Cup Final - Dons vs Tims
BobbyBiscuit replied to manc_don's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Spot on Slim. Was easy for McLean to make it easy for Hayes to find him, but he didn't do it. Would expect better quality from Jonny in that situation too but McLean didn't help him. McLean then lying on the ground as Celtic attacked didn't help much either. That was heartbreaking yesterday, will take a long while to get over that one. Can't fault the players work ethic. I'm no fan of his but that was Taylor's best game in a Dons shirt, just defended, didn't try to play football and did well. Just saw the photo of McGinn from after the game and found it quite hard to take, the guy was in bits, just how the rest of us felt afterwards. -
Good to see you've got it all in perspective. I didn't know what to focus on until you told us. You've got to be a troll.
